They called her and told them about her boyfriend (Scrappy) and then he went behind her back and told production about Erica. And apparently Scrappy got to choose who should be the main character and of course he chose Erica. This is all per Shay Johnson lol.

She was an original main cast mate for season 1. It was her idea to bring in Scrappy with her because she thought they were in a relationship. He played her by going behind her back bringing Erica Dixon on to the show. They knocked her from main cast member and made Erica a main cast member instead.
