I think the muzzle flash being visible with the compensator is a visual bug. Shouldn't happen at all.

Wait I am pretty sure you can put the longer hand guard on the shorter barrel correct me please if I am wrong but I was going specifically for that because the suppressor is concealed more by the hand guard and it looks cooler

You nailed your description of MOA pretty closely btw. To determine MOA shoot groupings at 100y. If your group is all within an inch of each other your accuracy is 1 MOA. 1 minute of angle from desired impact.

Personally, I think people rely too much on meta builds. Everyone wants to run meta Vector, HK, M4, AK, but I still have fun with non meta guns such as the MCX and I still manage to survive 6-8 raids with it and make well more than the gun was worth+ammo.

I want to run this gun but I wish there were a slightly cheaper option for the ammunition. 6 usd/750 rub a round adds up super quickly compared to a mere 368 rub for skiier's m855a1. Although relatively speaking blackout ap is cheaper than most meta rounds. I just wish M4s were cheaper to build.

you either forgot to mention or are unaware that the mcx is currently also bugged the way the mp5 was bugged when it was first introduced in that in raid, upon reloading or doing anything to the gun (adding or taking off attachments) can leave it in a state where your pmc only holds it with one hand and you’re then unable to fire it until you manage to drop it and pick it back up or disconnect and reconnect. This bug is easily reproduced when you try to take off the attached muzzle devices in raid. Stay away until BSG fix this gun.

It's stupidly underpowered, all it needed was to hit harder, if the ammo just had a higher base damage the rest of the stats would make sense.

Gun is cool looks good and is fun and its good ammo but god i really just cant get behind all that horizontal recoil, trying to spray that thing anywhere above 50m is just a joke, but also i think that if they made all the guns have similar horizontal recoil it would make the games ttk longer and make the game more enjoyable for noobs i think.

I hope they rebalance the mcx in future updates because it’s not worth to run it at $7 a shot when I could run m855a1 for cheaper and build a gun with much lower recoil. Fun to use tho :)

Got the recoil down to 45, ERGO is 33.5 muzzle velocity is 540. Used the stock pipe adapter, Mesa Tactical Crosshair buffer tube, MAGPUL Gen 3 Stock. It looks fucking strange, has super shitty ergo, but low recoil! Lmfao.

I've tried using this gun alot..... I tried giving it some credit but it is far from worth using. Way to expensive for not very good stats. The META version of it is 280k but has AK stats....

I did an Excel spreadsheet comparing prices of MCX and M4s, compared their spray patterns, linked to your 300 BLK pen video to show how it cuts through armor like butter and people go "nah, it sucks" anyway

Nothing I didn't already know too bad the muzzle flash makes it unusable and then the tradeoff compared to a M4 just isn't worth it right now :/

Actually the implementation of .300 is wrong or to casual . They should have bring in conversation kits. Bigger lower/upper receiver and barrel. technically you could swap the caliber classes and it would make sense for the MCX ,M4, MDR and in Future for the SCARs . But I like the gun much. The only con is the ammo gap between the two Typs. It’s a lvl 3 gun. Not the best at all, not meta but far away from being bad.

Eh, m855a1 is better

Price per ammo/high recoil make this gun not worth using when you can just run the 9mm Vector with 7n1 or AP and do way more with way less expense. It's also insanely stupid that this gun has as much flash to it as it does with a suppressor. I've shot this gun (full auto) IRL with the SIG SRD762TI-QD which is essentially what this suppressor is in game and there's almost zero flash. Suppressors are very good at either minimizing or removing flash from firearms. BSG does a bad job with how they work in this game. Also, to touch on the MOA difference, part of that difference is the length of the barrel you're using, since you can only use up to a 9" barrel currently on the MCX vs the 20" barrel you're using on the SR-25. It's worth mentioning that 300BLK is a round specifically designed for CQB use as well. There's so many more factors, but anyone thinking of picking up 300BLK and wanting to use it for distance shooting is foolish.

Wait people really think that the .300 is completely subsonic in Tarkov?😂 Almost no one realizes subsonic rounds are in the game and rather just say that it’s “shitty ammo” but then .300 makes it’s way to the game and you think it’s subsonic by default regardless of the bullet you shoot out of it? Come on man lmao. To anyone who has somehow let it fly over their head the “US” variants of bullets are subsonics. It literally tells you in the bullet description if it’s subsonic lol. Which is why they have so much more drop then the regular variants.

MCX doesnt slay and is probably the worst assault rifle in the current lineup. It's recoil is way too high, the damage is lackluster, and the ergs are below average. I would use any caliber of meta rifle ammo over the .300 ap round.

Community should stop building guns for lowest recoil automatic fire purpose. Use semi auto fire for more recoil control, less ammo consumption and more predictable points of impact. Stop being infants from COD like games with spray shooting.
