My grandmother went to one of those normal schools. It was in the late 1800’s. They were schools for training teachers, with less than a college degree.

Canadian 🍁 lady. Many years ago. I was taught how to paint a car by paint brush and enamel paint. Warm the car and the paint. We painted 3 , a mini cooper, red body and black roof. An old dodge or ford truck. And a VW 60s van. They looked fantastic. No brush Marks. I used those skills to paint homes. For the elderly. The only payment was for the materials. Paint, masking tape Turps back than. Water paints were not around than. I could cut in so. I did it may self. And my crew did the rest .😢 Know one. Are taught practical skills now.
