I have my own egg thing that's similar in spirit to yours! 1 zucchini (super thinly sliced) 1 handful of pre-shredded carrots 1/4 large onion, diced 1/2 pack of brown mushrooms, sliced 2 morning star breakfast patties, diced 1/2 cup egg white 1/4 cup sambal (non-oil based chili sauce) Shakes of following seasonings: salt, pepper, garlic powder, curry powder (lots), smoked paprika, msg Directions: 1) Heat up either lightly oiled castiron or nonstick pan with some cooking spray 2) While that's eating, start chopping the zucchini, then toss it in, followed by the carrots, onion, then mushroom 3) Add all seasonings to the veggies then stir (this is the first time the veggies should be stirred, don't mess with my caramelization) 4) Dice up morning stars and toss them in, then stir again 5) Scoot aside some room in the pan, add more spray (or oil) and pour in egg whites. Put away all your extra veg. 6) Stir it all up, turn pan off, then add sambal and mix up. I eat this literally every single morning, 380 calories and like over 50% protein. Makes a heaping bowl and is utterly delicious.

I agree it’s hard to get all the protein especially when you’re limited to calories because you’re trying to lose weight.

One thing I recommend (if you like it) it just eating tinned tuna. I was really low on my protein yesterday and every time I am I just eat the difference in tuna . 1 can is 100 kcal but 25g of protein making it really easy to catch up

Loved the Fage/Raspberry/Apple/etc recipe. It was more tasty and filling than the sugary yogurt I normally buy. This is my new go-to breakfast. Thank you!

These sound very yum- have you ever tried a bit of salt on your sweet foods? The salt actually opens up the sweet taste receptors on the tongue, and enhances the sweet experience (I’m a big fan of a bit of good mineral salt with my foods especially the sweet ones).

Great video thank you I have been struggling with breakfast I always have a yoghurt bowl so good to have some other options. In my yog bowl before I add fruit I add half a scoop of the myprotein mint chocolate whey protein and stir it in. It tastes delicious like desert for breakfast

just on a side note, Fage is kinda pronounced FA-yE, with the emphasis on the FA syllable and pronounced E --not ii/ee-- sound. The "y" is a tough one to pronounce as the Greek equivalent is a sound not found in english. :)

I either give them to Ben or have egg white cartons but didn’t have any cartons left 😊 so yes threw some away today!

It should mention all the macros besides the protein so that those can be planned in the day. This blindsides us. But great recipes. Will try some.

I got bought some protein pancake mix for Christmas- I can’t for the life of me get it to work! Every single time they get stuck to the pan (I have a very good pan so it’s not that) and they are impossible to flip as the top never cook (regardless of pan heat & thickness of pancake!) nothing seems to work!

So did you know there is a study where they had results with people taking cinnamon to help with insulin resistance vs a placebo? Five other studies showed that it has no effect on people already taking glucose lowering drugs?

Can protein cook with high temperature b/c most of guidance advises not to drink whey protein with hot water as hot water will loose the effect of whey protein?

Good stuff I do also curd cheese no fat mixed with natural skyr tight and then it's up to you add honey or some syrup or salt and pepper with chopped green onions. Will be good protein or specifically casein that's the type of protein in curd cheese.

Hey! 320g Fage yogurt is 32g protein. 20g peanut butter is 5.9g protein so that’s 37g, then you’ll get some but minimal from the Apple/raspberries/blueberries (approx 2-3G)👌🏼

It’s a shame cos I tried the protein pancake mix and they are an epic fail every time! Find them too artificially sweet and they burn/stick to the pan. I appreciate it’s due to the higher protein content!

so basically the first 3 are full of sugar and are anything + protein powder. The last which is healthier and doesn't need protein powder takes about 1 hr to make.... ok.

You take 170g of protein?! That's way too much for you. You don't need that much. I have 188 pounds of lean muscle at 5'7 and I take about only about 80-100 grams and that's more than enough for me.
