Honestly the AI does love to play tall now, and spam forts everywhere. I think the AI defaults towards dumping excess points into their provinces or something, no other reason for AI held Leipzig to have around 30 dev in the late 1500s. They also grab tech *really really* early now, it's insane, getting the innovativeness boni from being ahead of tech gets pretty difficult late game when the AI just dumps everything into getting every tech 7 years in advance.

dunno if any1 mentioned it and idk at what patch it got introduced but after passing Proclaim Erbkaisertum (the one before making every1 vassal) you can actually release any nation from HRE province and it wont count towards diplo slots...meaning you can just take one core province of say novgorod, core it, add it to empire and release them afterwards and you ll have another member to your swarm :)

Bruh this video was insane. I'm doing something similar with a Shattered mod that also uses stuff from Beyond Typus in 1.30. Instead of the Austria update, they should've called it the Bohemia update. Couldn't have done it without your videos, though! I actually understand HRE mechanics a lot better.

The reason everyone accepted is because you were at 100 IA. Imperial authority adds a modifier to whether or not members approve of the reform, acceptance for the vassal reform is the same as approval. If you're ever about to enact that reform it's worth it to check and see if everyone will approve and if not, usually it's worth it to just wait for a little more IA to get everyone in.

I agree with early golden age. Waiting until absolutism to trigger usually is too late and meaningless. The only threats are early on pre 1600 so early golden age to make the early game go better snowballs into late game success.

Think you forgot to mention that in order to force religion on the Center it needs to be in a capital as well, and you can also see who will is for every hre decision in the tab, their country tag should be highlighted, then you can just take the vassal decision when everyone is for it and you see the opinion if you hover over.
