The writers say they don't really know what to do with Spike (Which is clearly shown in this episode) but there's so much they can do. Explain why Spike is the only dragon with no wings, reunite him with his parents, turn him into a pony for a day, give him a dragon friend/girlfriend, etc. They need to stop making these episodes where he's selfish, dim witted or incompetent, Owl's Well That Ends Well and Spike at Your Service was bad enough.

This is a good episode. Though a little flawed. It's great to see Cadence again. Who would have though of Fancy Pants forming an angry mob.

I know spike misused twilights authority as princess but I seriously wouldn't apologize to the citizens in this episode they were jackasses .

I hope your dad pulls through. Good thing modern medicine is able to keep him alive, when otherwise just a few centuries ago his ailment would be 100% lethal. My mother has been in the hospital a lot lately, and the fact that she alive for something that would have killed her just a century ago is very comforting to me, so I can relate.

I'm so sorry about your dad and the issues it'll bring, but we do hope stuff well get better and you can stay where you are. A hard spot you guys are in, but sure no matter what you'll get through it and get to a place you and your family can be happy at again. So, we all wish you the best of luck. You know what, the first time watching this episode, i was kind of annoyed at how Spike was messing up all the time and i know he's better than that. But watching it a second time through, its not that bad overall, and im just glad to have another spike episode(He's my favourite character). I'll take what i can get.

I know this is probably an cliche but I'm sorry to hear about your father struggle my prayers are for you and your family luffy ):

Luffy, it saddens me to know about your family situation, and I'm truly sympathetic to your plight. I also understand why you can't work (I've said before I have a friend with similar difficulties). What saddens me more is that I can't help in a monetary way, with my own financial issues taking precidence for at least the next ten years, if not 20. Though it's only a drop in the bucket of moral support, I do hope everything works out for you. We're all a part of a great fandom who love and help each other, and I know you can pull through this. In regards to the chemical burns, what type of deodorant/antiperspirant are you using? I found out I was allergic to the contents of Old Spice, and it made my underarms itch and bleed, and that wasn't fun at all. As someone who's had those types of difficulties, maybe I can share some of my knowledge with you to help in that respect.

I enjoyed the background characters in this episode. A little bit of carry over in theme from Slice of Life, yes? But I've just got to say...that statue is ugly as sin. Public art is always a hit or miss, even in the real world. Am I right or am I right? Well, besides that detail, it was a fun episode for me. Hope things get better with your family. My family has been going through something similar so I can relate. Sending positive energy your way.

This episodes are the ones who make me not like spike at all, he might have potential, but the writers dont know how to use it, also is it me or fancy pants is the only decent pony in canterlot.?

I don't know how to feel about Season 5. It's had some of the best episodes of the series, but the majority so far have been pretty average. But we're hardly into it, and I have faith in the writers. I'm assuming that this episode was made with an earlier deadline to fill the gap that "Slice of Life" left. But the fact that even there "rushed" episodes are decent shows the competence of the writers. Any other show would've had an awful episode.

I hope to your father it will become better, trust, don't fell spirit. Though I also can't than more help, so I will make at least it. The Jesus with you. Good luck.

EP 10 I don’t like this episode. I like the ideas and parts of the episode but overall I kind of despise it. I love the idea of an Equestria Summit/Convention because it would tell us more about other parts of Equestria. I think Twilight Sparkle is adorable in this episode. Shouldn't they have finished all the work that could disrupt the summit before it started. Cadence should have had a plan in place if ponies needed disputes settled since everyone was going to Twilight Sparkle. Also shouldn't all of the princesses been going to the meetings Twilight Sparkle had planned. Also Spike did let power go to his head but had good intentions and Twilight Sparkle wasn't in any shape to do anything. Also was Cadence just going to let the summit go to shit. Also Spike like the CMC has learned no to tempt fate it leads to Murphy's Law. Also I like that Cadence can create and control crystals. Okay Cadence what was Spike supposed to do about the flooding. I love Fancy Pants’s line about the angry mob. I love that Fancy Pants is the first to help Spike with the gem statue. I love that the episode ended right before Spike sneezed. I love the designs of the ponies in this episode especially the one wearing a sweater and glasses with braces. I think the main reason I really don't like this episode is because it has the lesson in every Spike episode except the good ones. I have to rate this a 6/10 because it shows how great the episode is that even a bad episode doesn't score below a 6 except for Mare-do Well.
