Smooth as Tennessee Whiskey. Truly enjoyed this song. Regarding any small struggles on notes take better care of vocal chords through nutrition rest and vocal exercises. You are a blessing to me at this hour 2:45 am. Waking with a heavy heart for our nation and future for us all -- in particularly your generation and younger. Very similar to your Dad, my life is spent and I am coasting along in retirement. Gospel music wad all I knew in the early years of growing up. "Sweet Memories" can also be of years gone by. This Pentecostal woman could tell you the stories! As I grew into womanhood I was a quick learner of 'worldy'' ways. I thank God for His Keeping Power through my weaknesses and I thank God for Quarantine Songs. Consider Billy Dean's "Somewhere in my Broken Heart" as a cover. Thank you.

I saw MIckey Newbury do this song on the Waylon Jennings special about "The Boars Nest", the place in Nashville owned by Sue Brewer where so many of the greats hung out before they were great. Willie plays guitar on the special for Faron Young while he sings Hello Walls. Lukas would fit right in with those guys.
