So is nobody gonna comment on the first proper cold-air intake setup on the M157/M278 motor?! I wanna see the hood on this, I need to find out more!

If you have a successful track day, thank your car and change the oil after, the demands of a track are extreme and that oil even if new (which it should be) has changed chemically due to the temperatures. A couple pulls on the freeway to show the Lambo next to you that your 157 is faster no big deal. But a track just budget in a $100 in oil, if that's all it is it was a cheap day

Tracked my CLS63, and I’d agree and go so far as to recommend changing almost all of the fluids.

The oil is nothing compared to wear on the tires/brakes...

@Taso Do you have a video on changing the left side valve cover gasket? I've looked around in your videos & haven't been able to locate anything. Thanks if you can help me in anyway. Looking for step by step & torque values. Oh and am I going to need to replace anything else when I do it? I already have a tube of the black Mercedes sealant.

Hallo Tasos, at first, really great videos! You helped me a lot with my M157. But one question I couldn’t answer. What is that hissing noise in the background at 02:03 when you start the engine? My engine does the same noise. When I’m stationary and I hold the rev at 1100rpm the noise came really noticeable. Is that something serious? Can you help me out?

I have been told there is no blackboost intake system for the R231? Do you know why it is different than other M157 cars?

Yes. That’s what I have. I have an M271EVo, M278, M177 in w204,w166,w205 - all have speed limiter removed (well 330kmh).

At such mileage if the car is well taken care of , just change the oil every 3-4K miles

Taso is the M157 reliable if I keep it stock? I want to purchase a 2014 cls 63 S AMG. I've seen alot of your videos and the engine seems unreliable. Can the motor handle peddle to the metal everyday stock?

You'll be fine don't tune it, just make sure you take care of it

Absolutely bulletproof if you take care of it and don’t tune it. Mine’s a 2016.

Awesome car. I have 2013 . Take care of it and do the required maintenance and you will be fine.

You'll be just fine. Just be sure the oil temp is at least 200 deg F before you hammer it down. don't tune. I change my oil every few thousand miles, but I don't drive TOO hard. - '14 CLS63 S-Model

@@TasosMoschatos thanks the car is tuned I drive it hard to but I barely bought it did an oil change so I’ll know exactly how many miles this time it goes This is the first oil change I have done with motul .

So which oil are you puting? I was thinking to go with mobil1 0w40.
