Hello. Thank you for the nice feedback! I'm not really a mechanic but I'm interested in technique and it seemed a nice challenge to tackle (luckily I have some friends who helped me who were more used picking up spanners etc :) ). The new cylinder head I bought via Ebay (an English company who had a refurbished head for sale at that moment). The engine block itself just had an overhaul. The other parts (mostly timing parts and all the gasket) I bought at the BMW dealer nearby. Only the camshaft sprockets were not available ("sold out") and I found them also via Ebay in the US where someone sold 'new old stock' I suppose. The total cost of the rebuild was just beneath 4.000EUR . Good luck with your project!

Ik heb deze besteld via ebay bij iemand in de VS die nog enkel setjes nieuw op voorraad had liggen.
