Very nice, I just got their 12256 muffler installed on my stock exhaust and sounds great. I wonder if this is the same muffler. Sounds great without being too loud.

Wouldnt pass in VA. According to our inspections here exhaust has to exit beyond the cabin so Carbon Dioxide doesnt come into the cabin area. So out the side or back my jeep failed b/c it was 4 inches short from exiting out the back not kidding

My guess is that it would because magna flow is a California-based company but I won’t know until my next smog test.

2003-2009 = 4Runner 4.7L 2003-2009 = GX470 4.7L But yeah, sounds great!!! It actually sounds like the Gibson CBE.. One thing though is that I like the fact that it is a side exit exhaust vs the Gibson exhaust, which comes out the rear. As I own both the 4Runner (V8) and the GX470(V8).

The instructions say 2005 to 2009. I wonder if the VVTI that came out in 2005 has a different exhaust setup?

I reached out to magna flow and they told me that it will actually fit all the years. 2003 to 2009.🙌🏾🙌🏾

Update: 1) This is the full production model and they are sold out but you can go to the link in the description for more info on how to order. 2) New video coming soon with sound from in the cabin 3) 460 model coming by THIS CHRISTMAS. Link in description for more info. 4) Magnaflow reached out and told me I had the spacer wrong. I redid it with the spacer BETWEEN the frame and hanger mount and it worked great. 😂 I told you I wasn't super handy! 5) Oh for those that were asking, the chair at the beginning is from Cliq. My fav portable chair. It's crazy slick!

Thanks for the video and all your GX content. Completely unacceptable that magnaflow places the exhaust tip under the vehicle. This will cause corrosion and could potentially lead to exhaust fumes entering the cabin. Pass

It’s a company called RPM fab. Unfortunately, they went out of business last year. They did great work.

use wd40 on those hangers and they will slide right in and out very easy.

I just installed this in my gx 470 and just did a 470 mile trip and ill tell u im ripping that shit out anything above 55mph u cant have a conversation if you giving it gas to go up hills its way to loud inside. I was ready to find a Lexus or toyota dealer to get the factory muffler and tailpipe. Im going to be calling magnaflow this week amd see what they have to quite it by atleast 1/2. Totally not what i was looking for if anyone is sitting in the back they will definitely have a headache within a 1/2.

Woah that wild. Is it a lot louder than mine? It’s almost silent at highway cruising speeds to me.
