9 жыл бұрынJ.W. Westcott Company working on the Detroit River in late June and early July 2015. Deliveries to the Algowood, Mississagi, Hon. James L. Oberstar, Algolake, pilot change on the Solina. We take a Free Press camera man on a deliver to the Paul R. Tregurtha (sorry about the splash) grain inspectors off the Emilie, mail and freight to the H. Lee White, pizzas to the tour boat Friendship, Algoma Enterprise and Algoma Navigator receive mail and a cameo by Tilly the Mailboat Cat.

boatnerd I thought the Westcott II sank in a capsizing accident in 2007 killing both the Captain and co-captain?

The Mad-Mapper On 23 October 2001, J. W. Westcott II sank in the deep water under the Ambassador Bridge while caught in the wake of MT Sidsel Knutsen, a much larger ship the boat was serving. The captain and one other crew member were killed and two others were rescued. J. W. Westcott II was later salvaged, refurbished and returned to service.
