I wish we could have seen the faces of the employees when they found Frugal Daddy in the dumpster! Ha ha! That was very nice of them to let FD continue with his dive. And, I was not let down when FD put their trash in the dumpster and cleaned up. I was thinking he should do that for them while I was watching and then he did!

Best the employees remain anonymous. Other employees might "snitch" on them. Not only causing problems for (most likely termination) them, but, other Dumpsters may start to be locked.

Those employees were amazing FD said do I have to leave oh no not necessarily we’ll come back. Kudos to them. Awesome dive sometimes I wonder if they don’t just put food out for people. They often leave everything in the cart or set it on top of the dumpster. Class act from Aldi today. Stay safe and stay Frugal!🇨🇦🇨🇦

My other half works nights in a convenience store. This morning he came home with 15 cakes out of date by one day, just shy of £60 retail price for a small donation instead of going to the skip. Food waste on this scale is unforgivable, but the food banks won't accept out of date supplies.

Our food bank in CO accepted out of date food from groceries as well individuals. We screened every item co ing in.

What an awesome haul. Cool employees! Thank you FD for tidying up before you left. ❤️. That's how you stay on good terms with the businesses and keep dumpsters from getting locked down. My favorite items from the haul were the lo mein kit and the shrimp linguine kit. Both looked quite tasty.

Oh my goodness, this was such an exciting video. If only more people would be as great as those employees were with Frugal Daddy. They were so relaxed & easy going. The way that a sane person should be when seeing someone rescue things from going to the landfill. It doesn't make sense for an employee to get stressed, bc it's a good thing. I felt bad for Frugal Daddy when the employees first came out, bc he seemed really stressed.I would have been the same way. I believe that Frugal Daddy is so successful at diving bc he's proactive, always searching, & taking those risks, that he could get caught. Frugal family, your videos just keep getting better & better. ☺🙋‍♀️🙏

Looks like someone has discovered your Aldi! they probably use grabbers and don't get in so there's something on the bottom for you. It's only a matter of time before lots of people are looking for food with the prices. But I hope you always find something 😁

I don't think FD could have gotten caught by nicer people. I am impressed with the haul today. The variety of fruit and it all looked so good and of course those lights are amazing. Very handy having a few of those around. I, too, remember chow mein as our only taste of Chinese food - the kind that came in a can with the hard noodles attached to the container. Now, love Chinese food and would appreciate the lo mein kit from today's DD. I'm so glad you keep doing this - so much waste.

That was a good haul and it was nice of the employee's to leave daddy to do what he was doing. Most of all in return daddy did good in putting the trash in the bin for them . I hope they appreciate what he did if and when they go back out to the dumpsters. Daddy has more lights for going dumpster diving at night. Don't know what KZfaq is doing as I don't get notified anymore when you put up a video. I have the bell to all notifications and still don't get anything. So I go stalking everyday to see if you put on up.

Nice haircut FD. I used to cut my four sons hair and my ex-husband's hair all the time for years. Saved a lot of money. And those lights and food! What a wonderful haul. I'd make jam with the blackberries. I'm allergic to strawberries so I wouldn't be able to use them however I'd make jam and gift it away to friends and family. And when the Aldi workers came up from behind him it was so cute when Frugal daddy said do I have to leave? 😁

A little kindness goes both ways ☺ The employees will remember Frugal daddy . You've set up a start of a good relationship perhaps . Not all employees agree with a policy of throwing good items in the trash . There is definitely something wrong with the ones who agree to throwing good stuff out .

BOY HOW I COULD REALLY USE ONE OF THOSE LIGHTS that Frugal Daddy found. It would help me out SO, SO, MUCH when I go dumpster driving. I can't see well in some of those dark dumpster places. I remember this video but I just watch all of them over and over. God Bless and stay safe and HEALTHY.

I'm guessing those lights had a 3 year warranty up to March of 2023 and that might be the reason the store threw them out. They seem to go for around $12 each on eBay etc. -v

Loved this haul..... ❤️ and ❤️ loved the employees. Who could be mean to Frugal Daddy? The package of bacon 🥓 looked perfect. Everything looked good. Those lights made Frugal Daddy happy. Strawberries and bell peppers, good start! Dairy, meat, I trust my nose, and temperature. Half and half! (cheese/butter) Yes this takes some work; but you're putting cash in your own pocket with the work. My "professional" opinion at having worked at places that put food in dumpsters? Don't make a mess, don't hurt yourself. Don't take the carts. We were NOT ALLOWED to take anything that was marked for the dumpsters, but I did not EXTEND that to stopping anyone else. I would have been DELIGHTED to bring frugal daddy a cart full of goodies! I see NOTHING. Rechargeable lights? OMG yes. You always manage to improve my day!

These were made just for ALDI. The only ones I could find was on eBay for 24.98 . The handles are also magnetic. Great for night dumpsters diving. You can also charge your phone or other electronics from it also .

I won't forget about charity, l lived off of it for most of my life. It would have been nice if someone would have let me in on the secret. At least we didn't go to jail, get kicked out of our house; or get married to someone who doesn't deserve me. Thank you for all of your dedication to being frugal and dumpster diving.
