Majora's Mask VR (beta) - Full Game Playthrough

I have been developing MMVR over the last few weeks after I made a breakthrough with the more complex camera system. This is still in beta as I iron out some bugs and look for further Dolphin VR emulator settings improvements. Once I am happy with the state of MMVR, I will bring it out of beta and publicly release it via an updated ZeldaVR Patcher.

I've been revisiting VR recently and saw that this was uploaded on my birthday. Haven't played too much of Majora's Mask but would be totally down to give it a try in VR! Amazing work, keep it up.

This is incredible! I would absolutely watch a 100% playthrough. Also man, your patience is incredible. Some of the frustrating things you dealt with in this (like gyorg and that bs with the twinmold edge ) I would have completley lost my shit🤣 great job again man

The treadmill I use is the Kat Walk C. It works well and definitely improves VR immersion for me. I recommend not using the shoes they provide though

I have to ask though, Ocarina of Time has been decompiled so why hasn't anyone actually made a native VR mode for it yet? Majoras Mask is nearing completion of its decomp project as well. I feel like this is something worth talking about, because if someone could produce a good VR mode for both of these games using decompiled source code with motion controls, roomscale, look to turn, Body IK, Bhaptics and all that it would literally be a dream come true.

This reminds me of Kaze Emanuar's take on VR-ifying SM64, Nathaniel B tried to play it for less than 24 hours and yes there are a couple of hiccups.

It is only PCVR from what I know, however it's probably possible on the Quest 2 considering it can emulate most retro 3d consoles

For now MMVR is exclusive to Patrons while it's unfinished in beta. Once I finish it though I'll release it publicly

Since this is still a beta release, I haven't released it to the public yet. However, it is available privately to Patrons while it's still in beta. See the description for more info
