Hey guys! Well, the major works are done, and we have a tiny, two day window to rip her home. Brisbane to Hervey Bay where Jillza jumps on board to get her home to Yeppoon.
Hope you've enjoyed following along with the revamp process, we were only available to be there for small portions of it due to work commitments. But the main stuff is done and only small personal touches now which we can finish at home.
Thanks for the support & following along! We can't wait to start using her on some trips!!

Yeah mate awesome, the boat cruises along really well, the fuel economy is great at that speed for a boat of that size.

Gee that’s great economy for those speeds , be interesting to see how she runs on one motor , we mostly cruise on one motor on our 57 Perry , our economy is just over 1 litre per kilometre at 9 knots on one motor and we think that’s great

Absolutely amazingly beautiful boat guys. A credit to you. I've loved watching the transformation although wished we had have had a video of the new engines being fitted up. Cannot wait to see your adventures in it. A complete run down on the whole vessel , fuel capacity, water cost everything would be great. Enjoy it. Its my dream boat also the Simitar 10 meter. They are not a boat that is on the market regularly for sale.

Yeah, it was a shame we weren’t around when the engines went in, but unfortunately work gets in the way of our fun stuff! Awesome Ep Guys, How good does she go and look your boat, well done, I've crossed the Wide Bay bar hundreds of times day and night as a Rec Fisho and same as a Pro line fisherman it made me nervous every time.

You can cover a lot of ground at 16 kts. You’ll get used to travelling at a slower, more comfortable speed pretty quickly. Life with an autopilot is shit!.

Definitely on our bigger trips we’ll be a lot more sedate. But having that speed option was important to us while we’re still working and don’t have time always on our side.

Last vid ends with yanmar's not making 3200rpm, pulled back out. This starts in the water heading home, no update? Making a lot of helm corrections from 5:00. Seems noisy inside, on camera, what sound proofing was used? Be interesting to see performance/consumption difference with only one engine vs both. Blue water sail cats don't see justifiable outcome running both considering 2 x cost of fuel.

You’re right and I apologise for missing that info. It was hard with us coming & going to the boat in between work commitments. So we missed a lot of the work (engine install, battery system, prop repitch etc). Thanks for the feedback and I’ll address this in the future. As far as noise goes, I don’t feel it’s noisy any more than you’d expect a boat to be at 2800rpm but we also haven’t got too much to compare it too either. No sound proofing as such apart from seals on compartment hatches. And yes, it’s a test that I intend to do as far as single vs both engines running which I’ll make sure we let you guys know. Again, really appreciate the feedback. Mick 🤙🏼 FYI - the props were 20x19 and are now 20 x 20 and the boat now hits 3250. I’ll try and put this info into the next vid.
