Really cool build. I tryed to motors in my bike, my1018z rear side mount and geard hub in front. It was crazy quik whit 48v battery, but rediciusly complicated and tough to keep in one part.

Nice. To be street legal here there has to still be the option to pedal, but that's easy enough - just convert the front wheel. You can convert 2 bikes with 1 hoverboard that way, too. Always like the things you manage to do with hoverboard motors

What kind of cells did you make your battery pack out of nickel metal hydride if so I haven't seen that before and I'm curious how it worked out for you long term. The more dollars than sense I want what I want and I don't care how much it cost mindset is predominant but doesn't work for all of this and they're always going to choose lithium ion and the budget conscientious most bang for my buck DIY minority often chooses lead acid batteries that are safe and proven effective but heavy as hell I figured there's probably something middle-of-the-road that works just fine for those of us looking to save a few bucks (more out of necessity than anything else) but aren't willing to double or triple the bikes weight by using lead acid batteries and requiring some decent range so hopefully you'll get back to me on that because I haven't started my build yet specifically because I haven't worked out all the details and I like to have everything settled and planned out start to finish before I even begin so thanks in advance for your consideration to this request.

When the wheel diameter triples, the motor torque decreases 3 times. And with a voltage of 48 volts, the hoverboard motor rotates 1000 rpm, which with a 24-inch wheel must reach a speed of 115 km on no load, when it can only reach 64 km, which means that the motor operates at a low efficiency and releases a lot of heat loss. Burns. 18 amps are given to the motor all the time. 18×48=864w which half of that waste as heat. this hoverboard motors are not made for direct drive on large wheels. they have high rpm and low torque.

Could you provide more specs for the bike in the description please? In particular, it would be nice to know the: - Voltage (24, 36 48v?) - Max Speed (Assuming it's 66kph or 41mph?) - Max Power (Watts when traveling at max speed) - Motor rated power (if you know it) - Range (whether it be average, maximum, or minimum would help) - Battery Ah or Wh I would like and subscribe if you added these, thank you.
@BRADPARDZS3 жыл бұрын
In your schematic diagram it has 3 motors where was the third motor mounted. I just notice two hub motors. 1 for the front wheel and 1 for the rear wheel. You didn't have a mid drive motor/ i don't think so.

🌞👍I live high in the mountains with 50-70 ° climbs and am going to build an e-bike with a gearbox so I can climb mountains. Unfortunately, there are still no batteries with a charger for 100-150 km. But the future is not far off. I think that soon there will be mini-power plants based on cold nuclear fusion, invented by Yugin Malov, then the possibilities will be different. ☀️
