What is there not to love about this video? You have dirt as creamer or sugar, a nail gun that ejects nails, a toilet brush disguised as a drill brush, and a subtle middle finger to haters. The "0 [days] of no dumb" and 50 clocks were just a bonus. I'm also very happy to see that it looks like you used a dummy battery in the clock mechanism to feed power from the mains source rather than having to swap out a battery every so often.

When you were nailing the first frame and the way you were holding it, I just kept thinking of Adam Savage on his "Tested" channel. And him always saying " Keep your fingers out of anywhere the nail can deflect and get you". I guess it takes that first one to be more aware of where you have your hands. Hope you are okay. Love your videos.

I like your brad nailing template. Good, clear thinking. RE: nailer injuries... I feel ya. I had a framing nail spit out the side of a knot and into my thigh. It pinned my quad to the bone, and I couldn't stand up. Yeah, it was about as much fun as it sounds. At the ER, the maintenance guy's face was priceless when he came in and asked "Who asked for the Vice Gri.........eeehhhhheeeewwwww"

Woah. That was a lot of work! They look so nice! I noticed the missing word "days" right away, but it took me until the end of the video to notice that the clocks only had the number 5 all the way around.

Ooh. You should invest in one of those pnumatic nail removers. Looks kinda like a nail gun, but the head of the tool goes over the tip of the nail and fires the nail back out.

Pin nailer is both one of the most useful tools and the most deceptively dangerous tools. Up there with the 20v cordless drill/driver which has the weight and torque to seriously jack up your wrist if you are not used to it.

I learned a number of years ago always to keep my digits a minimum of 2.5" away from where I'm nailing (2" being the max. size of my nails). I learned this the hard way. Ouch! 😵

I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but his shop is a quonset hut, which uses the large ribs for strength and stability.

I have that metal detector but I didn't like the rubber bumpers skidding on the wood so I cut out bits of PEX to wrap over them -- easily slides down even the roughest boards now.

When ya work with your hands, you're gonna get hurt.. Last month. I had just sharpened and stropped a chisel, and was loosening up the honing guide and it started to fall, and instinct I used my other hand to try and grab it, and caught the blade.. went half way through the palm of my hand.. said a few bad words, glued it shut, and went back to working...

Another chance to show off the Starbond range and you had to go and use a bandaid instead! I fix my boo-boos with CA and a spritz of accellerator - the sudden intense heat is somehow envigorating and masks the original pain!
