@@DEBOSSGARAGE That's actually a big thing, that. Because if you had to justify it to a loans officer, as needed for your business, well..... So it's awesome that this KZfaq thing lets you use all the good stuff. We all know what happens at this stage of the project. You are already over budget. It still doesn't run. The wife is giving you the look. Shortcuts get taken. Not a chance in hell this truck will make sense per dollar invested, any more than any other project. But it WILL be awesome. ( ** Allowing for any reasonable dollar value to be inserted for Rich's shop rate. 8000 lbs of awesome. 8000 hours of labour. :) ) Now.. There needs to be a heavy hauler one ton pick up built. Must include at least a pusher axle, preferably two drive axles. And a Jacobs Engine Brake. A loud one...... For that camper/toy hauler fifth wheel you've been eyeing.

7.3 in the super duty was intercooled, OBS didn't have an intercooler, but one can be stuffed in. Early 7.3 SD had all aluminum intercooler. You should get a OBS diesel rad support, it sits deeper between the frame rails to support the bottom of the radiator, and won't block the rad fins like the gas support would. When you re-install the bed, buy Ford bolt kit XC3Z-9900038-AA for a Superduty, it has torx head bolts and j-nuts to make future bed removal easier. I gave away a 460 to replace it with a 7.3

It would be behind your new intake manifold and underneath where your breather tube is. I know that the later C-7 engines did but I'm pretty sure that the 3126 engines did too. It will be an o-ring face plug that will come out and go into the spot at the back of the head. Might be better than modifying the cab.

i had a 2005 cummins 2500 that i just had for shits and giggles, I ended up bed lining the entire truck cause the body wasn't in the best shape but i sold it not long after. the guy who bought it stripped the bed liner and was preparing to paint it and discovered a lot of rust spots that were starting to build up because of moisture, by all means im not a ford guy but i really love what you're doing with this truck man (PS i moved onto a vp44 24v cummins and a 95 12v cummins and i love both to each their own :) ) ALBERTA

I like how you kept the air compressor on the engine maybe you can make a setup so you can connect air tools to it and or a air chuck to fill tires and stuff

Have you thought of using an electric vacuum pump and reservoir out of a 6.0 era 250/350/Excursion to operate the HVAC controls?

I was thinking the same thing, 99 and later super duty have the vacuum pump. 08 and later have electric actuators, I'm not sure what year that F150 dash is or what it would have (or if there will be any legroom.) I'd assume he is going to ditch the vacuum boost brakes and replace with hydroboost.

That’s a sweet build. Being a neighbor in the great north I’d love to see an air starter on that hog. Never have to worry about the batteries getting tired of the cold.

Nice job...I just pulled my body off of a 94 F350. Minimal rust but the body and bed mounts were toast. No rot on the Rad support/mount is lucky too. I found the shackle purchases on both sides ( rear ) were packed with grime and should be cleaned out too. Well done all around Rich, Can't wait for the next Video...Stay Philthy

POR 15 for the frame and body work. Stops rest and keeps it from returning. Might give it a try. Regardless... so sweet. Good luck in the build.
