Hello KZfaq
Copper pipe is fairly cheap and often small pieces are thrown in skips that you can get for free so they're good for practicing some basic blacksmith skills without paying out a lot of money
Copper is a soft metal so you can get away with quenching it which fixes the metal in postion rather than letting it cool naturally after heating, known as normalising, as it will still not be as hardened as before you heated it

I love metal. Worked in a metal shop in Mitsubishi for two years when I was a teenager. I was a masterclass on the bending press. The older guys who'd worked on them for a decade had me setting their machines up

Nice metal to work with and you did a good job there. I have one on each wrist and it really works to stop arthritis pain in the hands. Cheers Alan

Hi. Why do you heat it and put it in water several times? Thanks

It's thin copper pipe I didn't want it to crack as I manipulated it but that might not be necessary as copper is a fairly soft metal
@kevind7617
@kevind7617 Жыл бұрын
Annealing makes the copper softer after being "work hardened".. you don't have to quench it.. but it cools it off for handling faster

For "therapy," the copper wide surface area type bracelet must be overlapping with out touching, with a type of closure to hold its position as insulated, in a SPIRAL. The original health benefits came from science research a long time ago, which you probably never studied. 98% of users have it wrong. The vibrational energy in the air has frequencies, many from cosmic radiation. The cellular living tissue within the spiral gets absorbed energy at a low amplification. (Antenna) This works on people, animals and plants. I used this many years ago on my old dog with arthritis. Twice it worked.( Animals and plants don't have "BIAS"- Gee I think I feel better.) See - study the data published about the work of George Lakhovski and the booklet "The Waves That Heal" Cancer eliminated in potted plants, and use of the electrically active type, or passive type copper spirals. So now you know.

Thanks, I appreciate the info about George Lakhovsky. I'm one of your 98% of those who have it wrong, according to your condescending statement. Some of the 98% are keen to learn though, so thanks, I think, for pointing the plebs in the right direction.
