This is part 2 of a 5 part series detailing how I made a handle for a ferro rod, also known as fire steel. Which is a tool used to start fires.
In part one, we prepped the blank to get it down to size, and drilled a hole for the rod. In this video I will be doing further shaping with the axe and establishing the facets, getting it ready for the knife work.
