Making a Psycho mask from Borderlands 3

Want to blend in with all the Psycho on Pandora? Then look no further. In this video, I show you how to make a Psycho Mask from Borderlands 3. I used 10 mm, 6 mm, and 4 mm EVA, a Replacement tinted face shield for lenses, two blue LEDs with a battery pack, 1-inch elastic banding, plastazote, contact cement, super glue, hot glue, Plasti Dip, spray paint, some wax/acrylic paints. You may also need the following tools: a heat gun, a Dremel with various bits, a wood burner, and an Xacto knife or box cutter. I find myself using them quite a bit. It just makes it a little easier for me then trying to get sharp, even lines out of brush work. Got a back for of random colors at the ready.

Might have to do that. My process takes 2 to 4 hours and rarely makes it into videos due to time. Plus it the patterns change as I go through the build.

I was wondering if you could do something from bioshock, like the eve hypo or little sister syringe, that would be amazing, or something from bioshock infinite, ether would be amazin, your talent makes everything look amazing

I have done a couple builds from Bioshock, an audio diary and a splicer rabbit mask. There are some really cool things in that game. I've been wanting to make a big brother drill arm for a while. Just got to find a good chunk of time.

What size eva dowel did you use around the eyes? The smallest I can find is 10mm.

How well can you see out of the mask with the LEDs in there?

It's really not too bad. That clear foam disperses it pretty good. I would recommend punching a few holes through the respiration part on the mouth to keep it from fogging up.

I use a lot of burnt umber and raw sienna when making things dirt or stained. I was in Puerto Rico this summer. Had lots of fun. Super cool to hear people all over watching what I do. 😁👊

Hi, first of all great build! Secondly, I was wondering how to size up (or down) the template, or are the pieces true to size in the digital version and should I just print them as they are on A4 paper? Thanks in advance :)

I would just print them as they are on regular A4 paper. You can tape the part together to get an idea for fit and whether or not changes need to be made.

Amazon has some prewired LED lights that would work also. With Halloween coming up, I'm sure all the stores will have cheap stuff with LEDs in them that you can scavenge.

My video released before the game was out. That's not what I have read. Before the game release, they talked about being able to buy cosmetic skins similar to how Fortnites does.

Shiro Ryujin borderlands 2 had skins and heads just as BL3 will as well, all weapons etc are found in game. So yea it is just like BL2, which everyone is fine with regarding micro transactions

Yah I know. I released this video before the game actually came out and there were talks of microtransactions similar to Fortnite. But they scrapped the idea in the final cut.
