Hi all
Today we are sharing a lovely variation on our basic mutton curry recipe we normally make ( • Basic Durban Mutton Cu... ). We had a head of cauliflower in the fridge so we decided to make a mutton curry with cauliflower!
Ingredients
1kg lamb, washed and marinated
1/2 a head cauliflower
1/4 cup oil
1 med onion, sliced
1 tomato, cubed
2 small cinnamon sticks
2 tbs mixed masala
1 tsp hurdee (tumeric) powder
1 tsp dhania/jeera powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp pure chillie powder
1 tsp roasted and ground whole spices (jeera, elachi/cardamom, saunf)
1 tsp crushed ginger and garlic
2 stems curry leaves
a few sprigs thyme
1 tsp rough salt, adjust to taste
dhania to garnish
Serve with rice or soft fresh bread
