@iTheGeek just curious why you say the quite SC is a good thing? You are right the stock 500's SC is ridiculously quite. It even comes stock with a SC resonator on the intake to make them even quieter. I don't understand why so I'm curious.

I have a KB 2.4 on my 2006 GT pushing 12.5lbs and don't have whine... Almost can't hear it at all. Is there a way to make it louder? My exhaust is pretty darn loud though with long tubes & magnaflow's out the side.

Sean Gallagher mine is a stage 2 2.6l and it’s been decently loud since I’ve had it, I’ve tried to look up ways to make it louder and the safest way I’ve seen is to add a bigger cold air intake but I can’t for the life of me find a cold air intake that fits into the KB throttle body so I’ve just left it as is. This video makes me wonder if what Nate did will work on the KB Supercharger though, may have to try it!

Sean Gallagher also could just be your exhaust being super loud I haven’t gotten LT headers or after market pipes yet, just have a steeda exhaust but that could be the reason why it seems so quiet

@@streetlife8244 This dumbass mod literally just routes the noise into the cabin. You're not decreasing or increasing the amount of noise at all. The only way to ACTUALLY increase or decrease supercharger whine is to change your pulley size and adjust how fast you're spinning the blower.

I have an 05 Mustang GT and it was straight piped with an offroad X pipe and my dad put mufflers on it last week :( It sounded like a drag car with full cams and it was sick! Now it sounds like a V6. My dad said I can save up for any exhaust system I want so I'm paying an exhaust shop to make it straight piped again next week :D. Long live the sound of the V8!

If your not familiar with the S550 mustangs. This is called a "sound tube" and all of the S550 gts have them because without it, the car is literally silent lol.

Not the same thing, the OEM sound tube or resonator cary induction vibration from the stock inlet and won't transfer rotor whine. FosterSCMods.com first ever twin screw Whine mod.

@@roh92cp I fail to see how it wouldn't "transfer" rotor whine. Its literally the same thing. Its just a tube going from the intake to the firewall. Stock vs your tube would only be noise levels considering your tube is larger but aside from that it is literally the same thing. Edit: im by no means disregarding your product, it works and it works well but its just a sound tube.

@@MultiRenegade6 The OEM sound tubes have large dense diaphragms that only transfer lower frequency sounds, and won't transfer rotor pack whine. Also they are smaller in diameter and have a more convoluted path which ends up loosing too much high frequency sound.

I've mulled it over lots and am keeping my 3V and sticking with it. Great car, reliable, doesn't have engine tick like the 5.0 and doesn't have transmission problems like the 5.0. Only problem I have is that it is an old car, paint is getting old. Costs more than the car is worth the re-spray the whole thing but oh well.. I'll probably do that one day when the paint goes bad. Never going to let go of this car. I might in the future get another car but I won't be selling this one. 2009 mustang gt only had recalls for both air bags, car is solid.

Still have my 3V I bought new. Supercharged now and always been dead nuts reliable. The retail value is just too low to make them worthwhile to sell. Still a lot of fun, just wish they came with better connecting rods, so I could turn it up a little more without dropping $5K on a built motor.

@@aggieforester05 Yeah I even consider the possibility of getting a 3V 4.6 2009 Ford F150 pickup truck too. I met a guy that had one and he loved it and I remember a bunch of folk wanting one. Yeah if I supercharged it I'd forge all the internals but it looks like it'd cost almost as much as buying a whole another Mustang GT car to do that. Kinda crazy. Like 16 grand for parts alone and plus labor which I don't know how much money labor would be to do that. I have a bunch of appearance mods, mostly Shelby, right now that I am considering whether or not to put on. I'm going to hopefully get started on appearance mods and maintenance soon. This car only has 33,000 miles on it. I heard there's still S197s out there for sale with under 10,000 miles on them for good deals, that is nuts. Such a reliable car for a budget. Crazy.

Thanks for this. I was looking at the Challenger, love the whine of the Supercharger in the Hellcat, but don't need that much car. Mustang GT500 is more controllable. Now, I can get the while and a more controllable car........somewhat. 2014 silver black here I come.

Thanks for showing me that I just put a Eaton e-force made by elderbrock twin screw and they say that it's quieter so I'm going to try KZfaq thing and see if they have one for my car or if they even make one for it
