Oh wow. Thank you so much for this, as another commenter called it "Masterclass". My favorite director producer and some of my all time favorite actors. The movie was great, but watching it almost felt like work. All that hardship. Watching the making of is easier, more abstract, and I think a real feat for every serious film buff. It's easy to forget what massive effort is required to produce a convincing period piece. That's an industrial scale production! As for the actors: I have always been a great Matt Damon fan but only knew Adam Driver from Star Wars, where I found him unconvincing (as the enetire late series). Here he imho excelled as an actor! And JC -- need I say anything about her? I think not. Her performance speaks for itself. In every arena. I think there should be more background documentations like this, also because they help to appreciate the staff involved in the production behind the scenes. It isn't only writers, directors and actors. All these artists, designers, technicians, artisans, boomers, equipment operators, tailors, makeup artists and whoever else among the back staff without whom all this wouldn't be possible. So again: thank you for this! This old fan's delight! And thanks for showing a bit what a messy affair script writing and translating it into the real thing can be.
