In this video I show you how I make two stepper motor mounts in 6351 aluminum alloy using my 4410 Sherline lathe with linear Interpolation by CNC process.
I love my Sherline lathes and Milling machine.
Material - 6351 aluminum alloy
Initial diameter - 51 mm
Hope you enjoy and comment.

Internal hole has visible eccentricity while cutter cut, plus it's synced to camera. So it's normal for this little lathe strength, and it goes back to center when cutter is off. Good thing that it's not a chromed titanium, or something like it.
@tryally
@tryally 5 жыл бұрын
Hi hztn thanks for your comment, you know, usually I do thread milling in titanium with diameter 1.4 mm using tiny tools, works very well because the backlash is zero, the helical interpolation create impression of a visible eccentricity while cutter cut, but the results is perfect, I have video on channel showing that.

@tryally
@tryally 5 жыл бұрын
