Tim Foust is definitely one of my favorites in terms of the timbre of his voice (when he's not showing off that is, lol). Incredible!! JD Sumner was definitely one of the greats too.

Tuukka is an actual Basso Profondo and sings as an Oktavist, he doesn't do Ingressive Phonation, it was Chest-Fry but he can go pretty low and still have resonance and perfect projection. I think i've heard him go as low as E1 in chest nice and loud.

Lowest I’ve seen him go live was a D1. I’m planning on making a video on him at some point soon and I’ve found a couple vids of him dipping into the 0 octave. He’s probably the best acapella Bass out there at the moment imo, though I believe his lowest full chest note is G1. Anything below is mixed or fry

im trying to get to the 1st octave in chest voice and actually properly sing it but either my phone wont pick it up properly or i cant do it. i can hit 30 hz (b0, ive done it a few times). the problems holding it but i did 47 hz (g1/gb1) for a few secs earlier and i think i could drop lower. either way i normally talk in abt c2 to a/b2

I think Tuuka's whatever note that was (probably not an E0 because the ear just treats it as a pattern rather than a note at that point so it's impossible to reliably sing a note like that) was probably some form of outward thing. By the sound of the S on the Supplication it sounded exhaled. I don't know what is in Tuuka's throat that is making the noise he sings with but whatever it is, it's probably massive.

@@flotoma4695 Yes. It refers to piano notes mainly as the piano notes go from C to B (C, D, E, F, G, A, B, with flat or sharp notes between like Eb or Bb). When you sing you just compare your high or low notes to the sound that piano (or guitar) makes on a specific note. I recommend VocalPitch Monitor which is an app that shows what note you sing. That way I learnt how to sing on pitch and how to recognise each note.

Honestly, as polite and respectful as I want to be, I am skeptical of all those "chest" notes below G0. I think JD Sumner's G0 was the lowest chest note of all time, even though at first I was hesitated to accept it. Though I might be wrong, I highly doubt that it's physically possible for anyone to hit a C0 with chest voice.

@@Marcell0Bass whoa! You are still reading comments on such an ancient video. Well, I always wanted to say, that when people go into the bottom of the 1st octave and deeper, everything sounds pretty much the same. And technically these notes might be both: technics I hear and technics you hear. I've tried doing the same sound like on 18:45, but with fry, and I got it. I can make the exact same sound like on 18:58 using growl (not reaching 0 octave, but the timbre is the same), so... It's technically impossible to classify such low notes for sure
