If you use hempstems and carbonize it in the same way you do, your concrete will become even stronger according to studies. Carbonized hemp also has good thermal and electric conductive properties.

I would bet this was probably one of the first human discoverys ever made, ok it was mud back then but besides that nothing new. Hemp probably even started agriculture and the research of medicine after you can get kids more easily if you put some hempstalks on some coals in a sweat hut for pregnant woman

Made gun powder as a seven year old and when I was mixing it, it blew up in flames and set my hair on fire and I ran inside to my mother who threw a tub of water over me. The burning hair stunk like mad and my hair was a mess for weeks

I tried to test the wind flutter device I made,,, but the Pigeons were not cooperative and kept pecking it... Until they had destroyed it completely!! I tried to put it inside a protective cage but then they spent the entire time trying to get at it and not going out for flying!! I'm going to have to make another one and see how it fares outside the window , ~and hope my Pigeons don't get their beady eyes and thus their beaks on it!! I should have caught this behavior on camera but,I was just too busy trying to stop them from pulling it apart!! Seriously. Andréa and Critters. ...XxX...

Re gunpowder engine: Remember the original movie called "Flight of the Phoenix?" Those military reciprocating aircraft engines could be started with starter carthridges ("starter carts") -- basically shotgun shell blanks fired into the intake manifold with the exhaust valve partially opened. I was disappointed with the Mythbusters episode, too, because they missed this obvious successful example.

Weights on a spring can harvest energy from many different sources at the same time.

For the flutter device my first thought is to use an old hard drive read-write-head and with the perfectly shaped coil and strong magnets. The fluttering part that catches gusts should be as light as possible - could be a plastic bag on a stick!

Never forget though...they may be cheap to make, and not wear rapidly, but other forces can shorten their life span. Forces from UV rays, to sea gulls, to juvenile delinquents, could cause severe harm to these motion harvesting products, and the installation, even if it were not that much originally, could be much more when working to remove and replace them after the fact, along with the potential problems of disposal of a whole lot of organic waste in the form of plastics.

Loved the video. Learn something new every time. Have you done a wind powered air compressor? Could be useful.

I wonder could you use this in construction of a space ramp? And in my head, I imagine a literal ramp, built in some desert or otherwise empty area, the gradually reached 100 miles up.

If you can directly convert waste organics [especially waste plastics, aldehydes, sterols, fibrillins, chitins, polyols, phenols, saccharides, vinyls and elastomers] using high intensity solar power, you can both recover immense energy, while at the same time, producing high quality purified carbon matrices.

The flutter method is still permitted by the Amish to pump water.

Can the biochar also create nanomatrices like graphene?
@hunnybunnysheavymetalmusic65424 ай бұрын
Sure seems you need a whole lot more surface area in your nuclear battery to make a reasonable level of efficiency for all the stray random emissions of particles.

Of the three types of smokeless locomotives pneumatic, caustic soda, and ammonium absorption only the pneumatic survive the invention of the practical electric motor; pneumatic or air engine.

Wait a minute... the gunpowder battery gets a strike, but the likewise engine is just fine? Lol well illogical is a form of logic, perhaps not the most useful 🤣

I don’t have a kiln. Could Biochar be made in a fire the same way without needing a sealed container if it is protected from the fire somehow?
