His physicality and on the ball performance for Denmark is out of this world, and I really believe, that a big club like United could and would get the best out of him, especially with a manager like ten Hag - BUT I think he needs three centerbacks behind him, even though he is a fine defender!

Luka Sucic is a player I could see Utd going for. The young CM has just broken into the Croatia first team squad and is apparently being scouted by Barca if he doesn’t go to RB Leipzig. Fantastic passer with an eye for goal and already used to the high pressing style.

I think it’s half obvious that we’ll sign at least 1 player from Ajax, and players from the Bundesliga (Rangnick, Ten Hag both experienced there). Timber, Antony, Akanji etc. Also ex-Ajax players are a shout with the likes of De Jong, De Ligt, Eriksen and Dest as you mentioned.

Dembele isn't good enough for Man Utd, only 11 np goals this season, technically poor (need to watch him to see it), but never gives up and is rather physical. Would fit a West Ham/Leicester level club but isn't UCL material (from a Lyon fan)

Ten hagd left back normally tucks in to crate a back three and his right back normally inverts to play as almost a midfielder So the rb should be a good passer

For me: Rb: maehle, after james said it seemed to make so much more sense than anything else and I really like the idea Cb: bastoni would be the dream but that’s very unlikely with no UCL football so Timber would be a fit, as someone who knows the way ten Hag plays and is also versatile. Cdm: tchoumeni would be the perfect signing, but he looks like he’s destined for Real Madrid. But I do think Kalvin phillips is actually perfect for us, but only for a maximum of 40 million, anything higher and it’s poor business. Cm: either bissouma or neves, both bring someone different but can also play a lone role in the 6 if injuries happen. Also have the ability to play higher up, with power and bite. St: Davids or Nkunku for me. Pace, athleticism, technical ability and energy. Along with goals- perfect options. I get Nkunku isn’t an out and out striker but if Bruno is a big part of ten hag’s plans then having them switch and intertwine could be exciting to watch.

Calvert Lewin is a risky one. Signing players who've only ever had one good season is a tough one.

I'd say aaron hickey at bolonga. One of their top performers playing either lwb or rwb. Second top scorer and very athletic. He's been linked with Newcastle, Brentford and ac Milan but when he was at hearts bayern Munich were also after him. Might not want to go as preferred guaranteed game time at bologna over bayern Munich.

personally: rb: lamptey, wonderful technical ability, dribbling pace. i wont be too worried about physicality, he has managed at brighton so far. cb:timber knows how to play in ten hag system. good recovry pace, athleticism and ball progression. cdm: tchoumeni kamara tchoumeni is an all round midfielder. can attack defend pass and dribble. the backbome of the midfeild. kamara for free would be amazing. solid defensivly. attacker: nkunku. very versatile. can play cf, rw lw cam. good passer and finisher.

I follow Sassuolo very closely and I think a player like Scamacca could be a great shout at striker. He's just signed a deal until 2026 but I think more so to garner some value for his eventual sale. Tall, powerful, brilliant hold up, fast, great aerially and his shots have ridiculous power. He's a smart player but his decision making can be questionable at times. I see him only making a move to Inter or another top Italian team but I wonder if he would consider if United threw their hat in the ring. Another player I like, and I think is worth mentioning, is Alexander Isak.

Tielemans looks like he’ll be very gettable this summer and I think he’d be a good versatile option.

I've been to quite a lot of Bayer leverkusen games this season. Tapsoba is great but hell still needs a couple of years to be ready for that kind of pressure. Also he'd need to bulk up a little. he weighs 10 kg less than van dijk or konate. It would just give him that tiny bit more confidence I think

A good cheap option for the 9 would be Valentin Castellanos from New York CIty. He tore apart MLS last year. Finished with 19 goals last year (joint top) and 8 assists, and so far through 7 games this season has 5 goals and 1 assist. Current transfer value of £10.8 at 23

Maehle is a class player and a very good shout. Would very much like to see that happen.

Tbh all the positions had very good options, the only one that seemed slightly weaker was the ST position. I think ronaldo will fit in ten Haag’s plans but if he doesn’t then someone like a Patrick shick would be good, 21 g and 1 a in 24 games or maybe Tammy Abraham, I like him over DCL, he can play as a target man but also be a mobile striker that moves into spaces like Andre silva if you want

No Pau Torres and Darwin Nunez? Those would be my first 2 signings if I was Ten Hag. I'd also take a look at Nkunku or David instead of Calvert Lewin or Dembele who I would stay far away from. Timber can play as RB as well so ideally I would get 4 players minimum: Timber, Torres or Akanji, Tchouameni and one of the strikers I said. If possible also Antony, but he would just be the cherry on the top. For the number 8 role I think Ten Hag will try Van de Beek and we'd also have Fred and Mctominay still. For wingers we have lots of young ones even if Antony doesn't come. For RB and LB you can always try Laird and Fernandez.

Here are the 5 areas that I think I wanna focus on when it comes to addressing the problems at man United; defense, defensive midfield, midfield, attacking midfield, forwards.

Promoting the youth players into first team Fernandes, Laird, Garner, Pellistri, Hannibal, Garnacho, McNeil and Amad, let's actually give them time to adapt and develop under Ten Haag rather than expect to suddenly become balon'd'or level instantly.

Timber should come and play as Right back, Bastoni as centre back. Give Donny a chance under ten Hag. Tchouameni for DM and then Nkunku for centre forward. I'd go with Rice if it wasn't such an expensive deal so if United can get multiple players out and build more of a war chest, I'd try to get both Rice and tchouameni. As you've mentioned Rice can play box to box, or centre back. If they got them I think this is how the team could line up. Left back and left wing are still a concern, but with Shola Shoretire and Alvaro fernandez both great prospects, they could be given chances in the future. Nkunku/Ronaldo Rashford Sancho Bruno/Donny Rice Tchouameni Shaw/Telles Bastoni Varane Timber

Apparently United board will gave 120 million to Ten Hag to spend plus the sells they will made. And knowing that Ten Hag likes to develop young talents (which Utd have tons) i think he will bring some experienced players to complement and help develop this young talents. And of course they will get some youngers players too. In the Rb Mahele would be simply perfect, his athletecism its what is needed to play in PL, his technicality is top and he is very aggressive to recover the ball, my only concern is how he would adapt to a back 4. My 2nd choice is Pedro Porro, he reminds me a lot to Cancelo, his technical ability is amazing, he is a very smart player who reads the game very well, and he is used to play in a back 4, the only issue is that he belongs to City but if im not wrong Sporting have a buy option that would simplify the sale. And my academy rb choice is Ethan Laird, he is being on loan on Mk Dons and Swansea, because of his great performance his loan on sweansea was terminated and went to bournemouth, is very fast player, that is very difficult to take the ball out of him, is very good attacking but needs to develop his defence, but in think a loan spell in PL would suit him perfectly. On cb i would bring someone to be the partner of Varane. In that case I would go for Akanji, experienced but with a solid 6 years of career remaining, his physicality would complement Varane perfectly, and both are very smart players, plus he would be cheap, around 15 or 20 million this summer. My dream choice would be Gvardiol, he has everything to be top and under Ten Hag even more, but because amazing performances he will be very expensive and also will probably want to play in a team that is in the next Champions League. And my Academy choice is Mengi, is the type of player that suit in th Ten Hag system, young, talented, good carring the ball, aggresive taken the ball back, good physicality, the only issue to many people is his height, is kinda small for Cb but like Timbers in Ajax he can make it up with other aspects of his game. On Cdm/Cm i would go for two players, the first is Kalvin Phillips, he knows what is like to play in the PL, he is leader, has a very good age to develop a little more but with all the experience that he already has, he can play in a doble pivot and can also play alone, to me it would be a great addition to the squad and if Leeds get relegated the deal will be way more cheaper. The other player i mentioned is Mohamed Camara,, he plays very similar to Kante, he never stop running, pressing and try to get the ball back, is the type of player who could press anyone but no everybody can press him, he can escape from any press and his range of passes is amazing, his match against Bayern was top level, he dominated the midfield against Kimmich and Goretzka, i think he would cost max 30mil. And my two academy choices are pretty obvious, it would be Hannibal and Garner. This two young men are very very talented i believe they are the future of Man utd, both of them can play in at least 2 possitions, they have great understanding of the game, have a amazing technique and can recover the ball. In the case of garner i can see him playing as a 6, he can take the ball from defenders and dictate the game from the back, his range of passing is unbelievable, his shots terrifies any goalkeeper in front of him and his positioning is also very good, his defence is pretty solid but he can keep developing, this lad could be very similar to Rice and of course if he is determined under TH he could. Hannibal is a gem and is simple as that, he can play as a 6, 8, 10 or the wing, you can see his disire to win and thrive in Utd and that is not something you can say of every player in the squad right now, by this point i think everybody knows how he plays so i will keep going. On the wings i wouldnt bring anybody with Sancho, Rashford, Elanga, Garnacho, Diallo and Pellestri i think that covers both wings pretty good, but in the case TH wants to bring someone personally i would go 100% for Antony, absolutely everything of his game is TOP, the comparation with Neymar is perfect, of course he isnt everything Ney could had achieved but he is close, very close, he could become one of the best players in the world if he is more determinating in the games, and with TH and more experience he could become all that, all this talent for 50mil is no a brainer to me. On the ST position i will suggest two differents profiles because TH can play with a false 9 or a classic 9. I would go for the traditional one and that is Darwin Nuñez of course, the comparations with Cavani are right, he plays like like him, the amazing shots, the ability to create chances for himself, that ability to smell goals (thats how we call it in Argentina) that no one can teach you, his driblings are class, his ability to hold defenders and heading are superb. Yes he will be very expensive but this is where i would put my money because he will guarantee goals. The false 9 option is Jonathan David, a very very good option , he can play as a traditional 9 too, his ability to destroy defences is amazing, his link up plays are very good, he´s fast, he´s agile, he can drop deep to link up, he will not wait all game to someone to gave him the ball, he will go and take it for himself, is a cheaper and different alternative to Nuñez but he would still cost around 50mill. And the academy choice is Mcneill, i cant talk much about him because i didnt watch him so much unfortunately, but i know he scores tons of goals and if he can translate that to the first team he wil had a spot under TH no doubt. i‘d definitely get a good 6, probably declan rice, if the price is too high calvin philips. wouldn‘t spend money on a rb in the first season, i say give dalot the chance to improve and adapt, if it doesn‘t work get a rb next year. wouldn‘t buy a new 8, as we‘ve got fred, mctominay and van de beek (who i think could thrive under ten haag again, as he‘s got the work ethic). give them a chance and see who performs best. for cb i like timber a lot. that would be all i’d go for this season. next season we should target a striker, if needed a rb and maybe a gk who can play the ball with his feet

I’d like to see a couple of affordable players with captain/vice-captain experience (either at club or national level) and in their mid-late 20s brought in to supplement any big marquee signings. The mental weakness and attitude in that club needs sorted and the younger players (even the likes of mctominay and Rashford who are probably mentally 3 years younger than they should be) need role models. A couple of Kamara, James-ward Prowse, John McGinn or even Callum McGregor from Celtic for depth in the midfield I’d be happy with. Rudiger, Denayer, Romagnoli or Jonathan Tah or someone similar in defense. And some kind of interchangeable final 3rd attacking player that could fill in across the forward line and play backup to Ronaldo for a season (don’t know who but absoloutely not Richarlison, DCL).

A truly believe we should be going all out for Nkunku to play him as the Tadic 18/19 false 9, can also play outwide next to cr7, Sangare in cdm I think should be the biggest shout if we can’t get Tchouameni, potentially Kamara from Marseille on a free aswell, DJed Spence for 20odd million I think should also be utd’s rb

im a leeds fan just watching to gather intel 😂 and thought id highlight patrick bamfords very underrated ability to play as a false 9. while hes more of a runner who tries to bring himself ino the play he could be very good as that ball to feet physical striker. he just has this way to lean into players and not lose balance when hes on the ball

Manuel Akanji has been my favourite Center Back for our country for a while, move to a huge club would be awesome, but Manchester United's track record of making good players worse does scare me

I think Timber and Tchouameni are by far the best options put forth, albeit I'll be very surprised if the latter isn't in Madrid come next season. Rice' price puts me off. In an ideal World, would love to see the additions of Tielemans and Nkunku aswell, just don't see that many top signings in one window.

Rice’s defensive help can also give Dalot and Telles the freedom to play Ten Hags game. Which is Wing/cm backs. imo… Bruno Fernandes should be a type of Regista box to box player. It keeps him from playing frustrated looking for stats, while also giving Kane the freedom to drop for the ball. Ronaldo being the target man with the likes of Sancho, Antony, Elanga, potentially Garnacho being the fresh legged options on the wings being creative and also getting in positions to receive dangerous, creative, and inter play passes from Bruno.

The issue Utd are going to have is that they seem to be so bad at recruiting. Everything is so public and drawn out so players end up joining late into pre-season. If Utd want to get a few deals done then they are going to have to make moves early on.
