Carl Anka is just the best. Could listen to him for hours. Always find it a shame when he's on stuff like the Overlap and loud people barely let him talk, but it's the blessing and curse of a personality that listens more than they speak. Super insightful and likeable, comes out with these little details you've never heard but that explain so much.

Love Carl Anka, has the right principles as a Utd fan and more importantly as a human being. I say this mainly because of his affirmative opinion on fan ownership of clubs.

The most underrated thing about Martial is the fact that his injury record has destroyed his career more than his work rate. Because he was so talented, we just blame Martial’s lower work rate on himself. I just think his never ending injury list is the main culprit which started in the season after his 20+ goal season of 2019/20.

Martial gave us glimpses of who he once was away against Bayern when he came off the bench, and away at City when we lost 6-3 and he scored 2. But unfortunately a combination of Mourinho and injuries killed his career.

What I don't get is we criticize Ten hag for leading transfer targets but then we also acknowledge that for years now there's no structure at the club and there's no scouting department or its just that bad we just can't do anything with it. So Ten Hag not being a scouting specialist himself probs feels he has to somehow cover that job as well as every other job. So yeah we probably don't want him doing that but then if he didn't do it who would do it as Man United's track record of Scouting and getting signings in over the last 3, 5, 10 years it's been shocking so I feel like we can't criticize him for that. He probably doesnt want to do it but feels like he has to. Give him a proper structure and he will flourish, being stretched to thin.

Martinez was on the list with Kim,Timber and Torres yes. Our prio was Timber and then Kim but yea we know what happend, so makes sense that Martinez became the Target at the end. Id take them all, two right and two left footers with different player types aswell.

Can we ease give 10 HAG his credit and dues for bringing and trying to bring in youth players at a time like this when we can't spend money. Having the faith in Garnacho and bringing through Mainoo, Kambwala, Forsun, seeing the potential in Hojlund. Can't fault him for integrating these youth lads into the first team

Højlund was meant to be a backup striker to a Harry Kane or someone else, that was the rumors last summer, but United were broke. I think Højlund has great potential and is finding some goals atm, but lets not forget it was 19 Premier league games in until he scored against Villa, IMO we need another top striker

It doesn't matter what striker we buy if no one tries to pass to him. That was the problem not Højlund. If he'd missed a load of chances then yes we'd need another striker but he hardly had a chance to shoot. Don't act like we've got Werner up front hitting row z 6 times a game.

United WERE planning on getting a top striker too, I just want them to do that still

Nonsense, UTD were never spending 100m + 70m on 1 specialist No9 position. No club spend that type of money on one position. Your second forward needs to be a hybrid wide forward, No 9. Even at City, Alveras plays as a 10 when Haaland plays. Kane and Rasmus can only play as a 9. Please don't say Kane can play as a 10, he is not quick or mobile enough to play in that position.

United's whole setup was in crisis in those 19 games. He had zero service. Have you forgotten he was the top scorer in the Champions League. He has great conversion rate. Everytime ball is on his left foot, it's a goal most of the times. He will be a great striker.

Considering how intelligent Anka is, the question at 8:14 is dumb. You look to buy the best you can, someone who is going to compete against Hojlund. You always buy to push the players in that spot. Thats how a winning squad is created.

Brobbey's nickname isn't Brobeast for no reason. He had a hard start of the season however he is now very much in form. And yeah he is a bit of a nutter.

Brobbey makes everyone laugh with his postgame interviews. Very dry humor. Great kid, hard worker, team player, may be the most powerful striker around rn. But he sucks in the air and has only just started reliably finishing big chances

We need the best players in the world! And no more signings from Ajax unless they are tearing it up! Stop looking at average players! We have a few lads in the youth that can break through so they need chances. If we are going to catch city or liverpool we need to make too signings otherwise we will keep getting further behind!

We should have 3 strikers for the one striker position, in the same way we have 3 keepers for the 1 goalkeeper position. We need someone better than Hojlund. This is Man Utd, Hojlund is 20 and by the time he's 23-25 he might be a top class 30 goal a season striker but he's not now.
