hahaha, IMO it was because of Klopps substitutions yesterday why they lost that game that they dominated and were so much better than utd, a total class difference. Liverpools huge injuries also benefitted utd, no Allison, no Trent, no Jota, No Jones, no Konate....... If Alonso goes to Liverpool they will get even better than they currently are.

As a United fan, I did not expect Simon & Sourness to speak professionally about United. I respect this piece of content. Really valuable. One thing I wish they spoke more is How Mino Riola. I think the biggest enemy of our club is Mendes, meanwhile Riola rinsed our club during our biggest injection of cash Chevrolet deal. Having a sporting director that has developed relationships with these agents will certainly help us out.

Onana is in his first season. Honestly in the last 5-6 weeks he has improved quite significantly and is getting a lot better at adapting to getting hold of the ball. De Gea had a terrible start at Man Utd until he settled in. Once he did settle in there was a period where De Gea was the best keeper in the world. Onana is coming through, he'll keep improving. Now we just need the right midfield to hold the game and press teams on a more regular basis.

Because we know how that happened. He played his strongest team in cups when others heavily rotated and we had really nice draws (in the Carabao) - hell we even lucked out with their keeper in the final. Also one guys goals really carried the team.

They were not expected to finish 8th - 10th, you’ve made that up. Had easy domestic cup draws, ALL at home. Handed their city rivals the treble. Lost 7-0 at Liverpool. Embarrassed v Sevilla in the Europa league. Failed to beat a top 10 team away from home. Chelsea, Spurs & Liverpool fell off a cliff. The football was pretty dire. He did the absolute bare minimum

That’s the only achievement they had anyway. I’d have that result every season if it meant LFC would achieve exactly what they did last season. They lost against the bottom side the next game 😂

We scraped top 4 on the second last game of the season, won the meaningless League Cup with a run of easy games against rubbish opposition, should have been knocked out of the FA Cup by multiple teams before the final, and we were completely embarrassed in the Europa. And we finished the season with an appalling +15 goal difference after many embarrassing defeats >>> FOUR to Brentford, THREE to Arsenal, TWO at home to a managerless Leeds, SIX to City in the space of roughly 45 mins. Utd should stick with ETH. It’s one of the worst summers to be looking for a manager with a lot of big teams such as Liverpool, Barca and Bayern looking for managers, plus a couple of the big international teams may end up needing new coaches. They're not playing differently with Onana because the players that were brought in to play that style are out injured. With Maguire and Evans you can't play that style. The spine of the team to play that way are out and have been all session. So he's going with plan B. But let's not mention this. I thought it was disgraceful the way Man Utd treated David De Gea - he is STILL a much better goalkeeper than Onana [who should have saved at least two of the goals Man Utd conceded in their 4-3 FA Cup QF victory over Loserpool]. What annoys me most is that Utd got rid of DDG [and bought Onana in] because they wanted to 'play our from the back' - but are still not doing that!

Getting rid of DDG was necessary, he was way too error prone, mistakes waiting to happen and couldn’t play from the back. ETHs main problem is that players like Antony, Mount, Sancho didn’t click and players like Shaw, Malacia, Casamiro, Varane, Awb are always injured.

A headline that always annoys me. I’m a United fan, but what does ‘back’ mean? Certainly not in competing ways at the top of the Prem. When we win it or come close on a consistent basis again, only then can we say we’re back. And no way is that happening in two years, or at least shouldn’t realistically, we’d have to have the best transfer windows with all the luck that every signing works out, and those that do hit the ground running straight off the bat. Confused as to what your view is as it’s contradictory. You think the players aren’t good enough, but you think Ten Hag should be sacked? So he could be getting the maximum out of the players but because the players aren’t good enough they are where they are and he still deserves to be sacked? The previous managers have also called out these players and we have sacked manager after manager and stuck with the players. Surely sticking with a manager is the way forward.

Thats true but both those clubs had just had anomaly seasons where they finished much much lower than the few seasons before and after. Man Utd are more like Arsenal 4 years ago where they've been slowly but steadily trending downwards for a decade. They need 3 or 4 years of an actual rebuild. No attempted fast tracking with Schweinsteiger, Ronaldo, Casemiro, Di Maria, Varane, Sanchez style signings of players whose best days have been and gone

Here's the thing you played well for 35 minutes 1st half, the majority of the 2nd until you equalized was a like a training session for Liverpool, they were so comfortable. And like Klopp I'm fuming that we lost to this Man Utd side, because they are a poor team and this is as good as they can play and they sucker punched Liverpool towards the end of the game, and that control Liverpool had, they lost after that. Utd didn't beat Liverpool, Liverpool got complacent and allowed this match to slip away from them.
