⚡ 💀 💕 / 🔥 😡 😡 🔥 If BABYMETAL works because of the contrast of cute with metal, the logical extension is to give the two youngest and cutest members the heaviest songs. A song about dumb boys? Even better. I'll add another vote for 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' Live at Sonisphere UK 2014 for the next reaction. That was a breakthrough performance.

Straight in your face! One rule goes with BABYMETAL all the time: Expect the unexpected! They have achieved to be very diverse and staying recognizable at the same time. And like laughing buddha already suggested: The next one should be "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" Live at Sonisphere 2014. This was their first big appearance in the west. Just follow the link he provided. I insist!

First! Cool! Awesome reaction! This Black Babymetal; Yui and Moa only. They tend to do a little (lyrically) darker tunes like Sis Anger, Onedari Daisakusen (Operation: Beg Dad for it!), 4 No Uta (Song 4), and (not dark) GJ!. The joy of BM is that they incorporate different genres in each of their songs and each has a different flavor to the others. No two are alike.

Love it, right up there among my favourite BM songs - and who'd have thought you could have a song that heavy with choreography thrown in. There are more that will go in your play list, just follow the links everybody has posted in your videos so far (and the ones they will post).

And that song was, imho, the knock-down punch to the so-called elitists who kept insisting Babymetal was not metal! Funny thing, the two smaller girls, Moa and Yui metal, got the heaviest solo songs. A great reaction from you, and I think the next one should be "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" Live at Sonisphere 2014. You will witness the birth of Babymetal on the international podium. Very few heard of them, only from KZfaq, and they were supposed to play on a small side stage. At the last moment they were bumped up to the main stage facing 60.000 critical metalheads. A miracle happened, and this last song of their set is one of the most intense and captivating performances I have ever seen. Have fun! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iNVdksaTy8rWiXk.html

Love all the Black BM songs , Odesari would be cool to have a collaboration with Korn on stage. you are right about IDZ at Sonisphere , it was their coming out party ,and they blew the whole world away. I had only known who they were for about 3 weeks before that , Gimme Chocolate came across my feed on FB , I watched the video and thought "what the hell did I just watch?" after 4 more viewings I realized this was something special and I started looking for other vids to watch... been part of The One ever since.

i hate elitists, i was on black metal scene long long time ago. you know what? they dont like me just because im asian. and they said, black metal is only for caucasians. it's just a few people tho. not all of them... btw when first time i listened to this sis anger, it makes me laugh. because they made death metal with kawaii voice, and i find this funny... xD

Great reaction! This is their heaviest song to date. Yui and Moa sing about boys but the band is playing legit black metal. They are awesome!

I project the lyrics always on the people who say to me that this is not metal secretly ;). The contrast between the heavy deep guitar and bass sounds with their cute voices is mindblowing even more on their record where this is Yui's song and Good Job is the one Moa song...also very heavy but nothing is as brutal then Sis. Anger . It also their only song with rude / vulgar language but hey, i like when girls make clear statements and when you don't get the message then you are maybe just braindead XD

Some people think if it doesnt have cookie monster growling that it's not metal...the entire argument seems so silly to me. I like metal...I like Lamb of God and Slipknot but as far as screaming stuff that's about as much as I like. But stuff like Megadeth and Metallica are metal, too. It's just a silly argument some people get so insane about.

Glad you're enjoying BM. There are a lot of good Japanese bands at the moment; just as an example:- Aldious - Power Metal. BiSH - Idol Punk group. Like to use lots of orchestral strings in their less punky tracks. Their videos for Monsters, Giant Killers and Smack Baby Smack all have a body count although I'd suggest "Am I Frenzy?" live (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/h8qTqbiLmbzYf4U.html) as an example, but that's personal bias. Passcode - Another Alt Idol group. I don't really know how to describe what they do. Broken By The Scream - Similar to passcode without as much vocoder. There are loads more, too, so I hope enjoy discovering some good new music.

"Australian metallers Ne Obliviscaris have seen their song "And Plague Flowers The Kaleidoscope" from their debut album Portal Of I included in a teaching curriculum at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, one of Australia's most prestigious classical Conservatories. The song will undergo a compositional analysis by Professor Matthew Hindson, Chair of Composition at the Conservatorium. "And Plague Flowers The Kaleidoscope" will be studied as part of the curriculum."

I mentioned it on another reaction, but I'll put it here too. If you want dark, heavy and brutal, you have to react to Death. I'm surprised no one has suggested this one yet. Here's a link to the Live Legend 1997 version, which was a sort of Sweet Sixteen (lol @ sweet) show for Sumetal. Link: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oLiTbMeTzM-mgH0.html You mentioned a few Babymetal reactions ago that the girls are probably exhausted after a show. This is how they avoid some of that. Depending on the length of the show, there will be one or two songs where it's just Yui and Moa performing (aka Black Babymetal) like in this video. While they're doing there thing on stage, Su will be back stage taking a quick break. Then there will be one or two songs like Rondo of Nightmare where it's just Su performing, which gives Yui and Moa a chance to take a break. You also mentioned that you're having a hard time keeping up with the requests. What I suggest, which is what another reactor has been doing, is doing the songs in order as they appear on the albums. This takes a lot of the confusion out of the process and allows you to experience their progression as a group. Just a suggestion... Last but not least, I'm really enjoying your reactions. You're doing a great job. PS: I wouldn't stress too much about the orange hair. It actually looks kind of cool. It's definitely original.

This track freaked a lot of folks out...I mean, Yui and Moa saying things like, "Quit fucking around!" and "Stop pissing us off!" and "Stop bullshitting us!." Check the translations of the lyrics and you will see that I am straight up about this (the English subtitles here are hopelessly sanitized.). Sadly, we will never get to see Yui and Moa as Black Babymetal live again.

Like your reactions but like on youtube there is too many compilations like this one that is from several different shows. As others have said the next should be IDZ from sonisphere 2014. So.much about that show. Dailymotion has some good versions. Like this song so much better from tokyo dome 2016. That was two nights, 55,000 people each night. Soon the more you react to Babymetal the more likely you will get copyright strikes. You will need to mute and link for us. We all know it will have to be.

I don't like the interpretation of the translations for the song. Done by someone who 'doesn't feel like girls of their age should be using aggressive language'. Who btw are like 15-16.
