i remember doing the etihad stadium tour aswell and at the beginning of the tour the guide asked " if everyone supported city" and i responded " no i'm a united fan" as i say that they have the video playing when the PL slipped away from us a seasons ago and the tourguide was having so much fun on my behalf but overall it was a fun experience

I am a liverpool fan but I am a massive football fan in general and I love a stadium tour, your honest opinion on these stadiums is brilliant, awesome videos, my favourite stadiums so far Benfica the tour is mind blowing and the allianz I went to the nou camp and it was huge but the stadium is not as good as many of the stadiums in England

Good set of videos Ninh, truthful and honest reviews, being a united fan and season ticket holder, I enjoy watching these types of videos. However on the recording side when you got to old Trafford and he told you to stop filming, I took the tour around 5 months before you did yours and I was allowed to film the whole tour so I wonder if either the rules changed or simply dependent on which tour guide you get, next time I go, or when you go, just ask if filming is alright as it can be hard to clarify sometimes!

Yeah, I thought it was a little strange, as other people have told me the same thing. That they were okay filming the tour ... but I must have just got the one guy that doesn't allow filming! Thanks for the kind comments on my videos, I'm trying to make more regularly.

Well, the new dressing rooms are a good draw - but my two experiences of the United tour was subpar compared to other stadium tours that I've been to. Glad you had a good time though.

you usually get to go in to the home dressing room and walk down the tunnel they use today... Judging by when this video was made I'm assuming it was before the start of the 2018-19 season - if so they were renovating the dressing rooms

Yeah, I think they were renovating the dressing rooms, hence why we didn't go in. But that still doesn't detract from the fact that it just felt a little impersonal, particularly the guy who didn't want me to film anything. City were a lot more welcoming ... I hate to admit. Thanks bro.

Ultimate Bucket List When I went on the stadium tour at old Trafford I had a fantastic “leader”. I got to see the dressing room and she was funny as hell (the leader). And I recorded and they didn’t say a word.

EDIT: 22.07.2020 It's amazing how many Liverpool fans think that I can predict the future from two years ago. Yes, you finally won a Premier League title, it only took you 30 years. Congratulations. It's also amazing how many of them are sad enough to come back to a video that's not about Liverpool Football Club ... and gloat. That pretty much says it all really. #typicalliverpoolmentality EDIT: Even though our group didn't go into the United dressing room, you usually get it as part of your tour. I implied that in the video, so I'm not sure why so many people didn't pick that up? I think the dressing rooms were under renovations that day, hence why we didn't go in. Any and all further comments about the United dressing room will be redirected here.

Thanks for not being biased mate appreciate it, I've been on a tour of the Etihad myself it was brilliant we also got a look inside the boxes that rich people watch the game in. One negative though is unfortunately the changing rooms were temporary as they were renovating it because of the tunnel club thing I think, but there's nothing the club can do about that. Other than that it was brilliant. I've also been to Old Trafford but not on a stadium tour, I will admit the ground is massive but it looks a bit dated compared to the Etihad. Probably me being biased as a City fan but hope you enjoyed your day. And did they tell you the story about Balotelli while you was there?

Ah, I appreciate that, thanks! Yes, Old Trafford is massive, and I did mention in the video that compared to Manchester City, everything is a bit more 'rustic' because it's 100+ years old. Not much that can be done about that I'm afraid. As for stories about Balotelli ... I didn't hear any from the tour guide, but I'm sure I've heard plenty!

@@UltimateBucketList With Balotelli what happened is when he left the club they had to swap the locks on his locker. But he forgot his PIN so they broke into the locker and it was full of parking tickets 😂

If you ever come to New York City i suggest the Rockefeller Center tour. Gives you a great history of one of the most famous construction projects in American history.

My wife and I did the Fenway Park tour in Boston this year. The tour group before us had some dude in a Yankees jersey. That takes guts!

It's a great tour. Lots of history. A bit smaller that you might expect and, as you said about Old Trafford, "rustic." But it's a great ballpark, and the surrounding area has some great places to eat/drink.

Ya I was at Old Trafford before and have to say that they do show the real tunnel /dressing rooms and so much more it’s probably because of the time and day u went as they have to get ready for different things

My school had two hours to spare once on a school trip, so we just went to old Trafford even though 9/10 of us were Liverpool or Everton fans, including me, we were surprisingly the only ones there. we did get into the dressing rooms

The United tour has changed a little bit, you actually see the changing rooms and walk out the actual players tunnel, and I thinks it's a bit longer

@@UltimateBucketListI went to the united tour in 2015, and they showed us also the dressing rooms, the players tunnel, we went also pretty high on the stands where an amazing tour guide told us everything about the pitch. That was a great esperience. Don't understand why you saw only some of the features.

@@UltimateBucketList maybe that was my same tour, probably the part in which we went higher was in the north stands, but I'm not sure cause that was a long time ago. Anyway I found it quite nice, but I must say we were a school class and we had a "personal" guide, who was probably more keen to explain us things and talk to us. I was probably luckier than a common visitor because of that

As a city fan loved the expression in the city change room, I know its unbelievable :) but Im really curious, why didn't you try the other way round at united, wear a city shirt at united and check their reaction :) anyways, thank you for the video, Cheers

Admittedly, the circular dressing room was cool. What I wasn't impressed with was people elbowing me out of the way so that they could take pictures of themselves with the shirts - hence the pained expression on my face. I'm a Rangers fan who's been to both OT and the Ethiad. I would say both tours (I did them in 2016) have their merits but you get a greater sense of history at OT. And the MU guides were VERY friendly (they don't seem that friendly in your clip). I don't remember anyone forbidding me to video either.

What a great video, so well presented, I really enjoyed it. I follow United in the EPL, but born a Celtic supporter. You definitely won't see me at Ibrox doing their tour anytime soon 🤣 I have to admit though, the City tour did look better, and I wouldn't be adverse to doing it myself one day in a red shirt! The Spurs one looks good too in their new stadium, one for the future maybe.

All those history lovers ranting about CITY and its "lack of history". Every club has history- every club. Some has successful history while others may not have the glittering past. But "they do have the history". And on the flip side, what CITY is doing right now is making history.

@@Pilis659 That isn't the actual attendances. They always include season ticket holders, whether they turn up or not, and then tickets sold including corporate, Executive Boxes etc. Doesn't mean they actually attended. They don't count people as they come through the turnstile you idiot.

You could visit Old Trafford wearing a City shirt to show us the reaction of the fans and employees there. Apparently you had no problem to visit Etihad wearing rival shirt. Nice video.

Thanks bro. I must admit, the most overtly sensitive people I've met are the 'offended types' who think that it's 'disrespectful'. If I saw someone in a Liverpool top at Old Trafford, I wouldn't care. They pay their money, they're entitled to be there regardless of what team they support. It's pretty common in American sports.

That's actually not a bad idea, but I suspect he would have been even more of a jerk than usual. Seriously, I almost felt a little mistreated at United. And even though I wore a United top at City, the staff were a lot more friendlier at the Etihad than they were at Old Trafford. Go figure?!

Yes, the actual tunnel is in the corner - they walked us through the Old Tunnel. I have no idea why.

I am a united fan but the Ajax tour is much better than any of the tours on your channel. I would highly recommend you heading over to Amsterdam and doing a video for it.

I very much doubt it'd ever beat the Dallas Cowboys stadium tour (also on my channel) but I wouldn't mind going to Amsterdam. I've been to the Amsterdam Arena before and it was a cool gameday experience.

That's not strictly true, but it was quiet on the day that I went. The tour sizes are more manageable, so that's actually a plus in my opinion. When there's lots of you, it kinda ruins the experience.

Back in 2016 I went on a tour in Principality stadium for the Wales National Football Team. I got to sit on Gareth Bale seat and Aaron Ramsay seat. They were 2 life goals completed. It was very very cool. I had to pay £120 (inc travel) though.

As I'm responsible for entertaining corporate clients I tried to book a tour inclusive of lunch around the ethiad just before covid began and was told of a five week waiting list for the 9 of us (maybe because they weren't doing it every week day at the time) so I called Old Trafford who told me just two days wait to which I agreed and booked. Maybe things have dramatically changed since this clip got done!!!! Old Trafford was quite good but will have to wait for Covid to end before trying the Ethiad again Very good informative clip though, thanks 😊
