Combining traditional festive flavours along with mangoes has never been more fun!
In the middle of this year's mango season, I was on the search for unique recipes which could be incorporated with the delicious taste of mangoes, and I thought I'd show this one to you
Enjoy this delightful fusion recipe with the sweet flavours of the conventional rasmalai along with the satisfaction of enjoying delicious mangoes in the summer ;) With fresh mangoes, mint leaves, and dry fruits, it's like summer on a dish XD
The cake is in itself pretty simple to make and is a great dessert for most of your occasions
Material required :
Vanilla sponge - • Eggless Vanilla Sponge...
Whipped cream - 250g (divide into 2 equal portions)
Rasmalai - 100g
Rasmalai milk - 2-3 tbsp (in the whipped cream)
Rasmalai milk - 3-4 tbsp (for soaking)
Rasmalai essence (optional) - few drops
Chopped dry fruits
Dried Rose petals
Mango purée - 3-4 tbsp (in the whipped cream)
Chopped Mango pieces - 100g
Mango juice - 3-4 tbsp (for soaking)
After assembling, refrigerate for about 1 hour and serve cold.
This recipe will yield approximately 1kg of the frosted cake.
For garnish
Kesar
Mint leaves
Edible Pearls
Gold flakes
Cut mango
Rasmalai
Whipped cream
Storage and shelf life :
Immediate consumption is preferable as this contains fresh fruits and milk products. You can store it in the refrigerator for about 2 days.
