Oh so the black and red part is like a flexible shaft for the white gear that spins the window knob. I get it now. I’m trying to make an automatic pop up license plate frame & im trying to decide if I need one of these or like an actuator for automatic door locks. I’m leaning towards this one..

No you plug it to a fuse witch only works when car is on or just to your battery wich might train the battery

@@Sip28 you need to go under the fuse block and run power from the factory power window circuit. I used a 30amp j fuse
