Niggas sayin this disrespectful?? Really? What bands were y'all watchin? Cuz I coulda sworn this was SU vs JSU.. Not Howard vs Nsu. This is the SWAC, people and this rivalry been goin on for years. All is fair at the boombox. Leave ya feelings at home

+Jim Beam The thing is, when JSU do it, it's disrespectful but when SU do it, people turn a blind eye like nothing ever happen. Like a few years ago when JSU cranked on SU at a Jackson BOTB and SU fans was super mad about it. Now had it been Southern cranking on JSU that day, all of them wouldn't have said anything but defend SU like nothing they did was wrong. A more recent thing, JSU did the same thing to SU when SU marched into Jackson Memorial, SU fans were red hot saying it was disrespectful and shaming JSU for it. How is that disrespectful but when SU does the same thing, they get praised and get a free pass? Then god forbid another band crank on Southern during their band entrance, those same people praising SU for this would be shaming the other bands for doing the exact same thing. Me personally, I'm a JSU fan but I don't have a problem with what SU did because it's war come Saturday during the fall but what I do have a problem with is all of these hypothetical fans who support their band when they do this but when the shoe is on the other feet, they want to say it's disrespectful. FOH with that double standard bullshit. It's either one way or the other.

One of the interesting things about this clip for me is hearing the microphone wig out at 1:24 and at various points throughout the clip. I think it got pushed to its limits with sound coming from different directions, different heights at different volumes etc.

nasaah1 If you look close... the dancers were thrown off as well. Some of the band members were off as well. I enjoyed both HBCU bands.. but Southern did that.

Loud hadn't exactly gotten jswho anywhere. They were making a big deal about doing halftime @ the Saints game this year......lol.....The Juke does their halftime and pre-game quite often. Oh yeah they did it again last Sunday night .......you know the day after they left Jackson. Slaughterrrrrr ! (sound familiar?)

Southern is so disrespectful...the band as well as the fans. #1 SU wasn't even supposed to be in the stands so early, they forced their way in. I wish they could've been fined for poor bandman ship...the band is so pathetic they had to try to out blow da boom, but it didn't work.

To the people saying they were trying to get the advantage, they already had the advantage after the botb the night before. If you go back these two do this type of thing to each other all the time, just part of the rivalry.

jbu2009 who is "yaw"? I am a Jackson native and JSU Alum but apparently most fans aren't able to be objective. I sat there with Sonic Boom Alum who said the same thing I said.

@@avol3xo see that can be respected. My degree is from Southern University and I love the Jukebox. But I don't play with JSU. Them people be bringing it. Like this year I don't agree with how SU look. As a fan you have to say when it's right and when it's wrong. Much respect to JSU...
