Mark Morrison is a British R&B singer that before this had a couple of moderate hits but when this song dropped it hit like a bomb in the UK (reaching # 1 there) and crossed the Atlantic and became a major hit in the United States reaching all the way to number 2 on the billboard charts propelling his debut album to triple platinum status, he even managed to land a Burger King commercial off this song. Since this song however he never had a hit before or after that reached the heights of Return of the Mack if you want to say he was a one hit wonder you wouldn’t be too far off.

Not really a 1 hit wonder. Yes he only had one #1 hit but he had multiple singles that charted in the top 10. Crazy charted at #6. trippin charted at #8. Horney charted at #5 moan and groan charted at #7. And he is actually from Germany but he grew up in England.

Yeah see, I disagree. Crazy was another top tune by him, just didn't get the same exposure, so never reached the same heights, but was just as good in quality in my books, and still a hit.

You can't help but rise to this gem. My favourite song now. Not bad for 1996. I found it on a GTA San Andreas CSR103.9 alternate playlist and fell in love with it. Its top of my playlist and I've only been into New Jack Swing for the last 2 years....the best genre of music and the best jaming music.

Love this song unfortunately he never took off after this song had a lot of legal troubles throughout the years I believe he was even in jail or on trail when this song got big in the U.S so he couldn’t travel to promote it
