A classic, as a Brit we're proud that this song is loved the world over nearly 25 years later. This was a mega hit when it came out. It reached number 2 on the billboard charts in the US. That's hard for established American acts, let alone an unknown Brit. Much respect to you brothers for bringing classics back, so that a new audience can appreciate it and old fools like me can reminisce.

I love this song. It's the polar opposite of depression. He is completely in love, gets cheated on and dumped, and in the face of the most painful experience a human can have, he says oh I'm coming back stronger. Who has that kind of life spirit? I love it.

This was written as a revenge song on his ex-gf who left him because she was tired of him struggling as an artist and saying he'd never make it. Revenge was served cold when the revenge song itself was a massive hit.

I requested this in the afternoon and woke up in the morning to see the they listed this (I’m in Melbourne, Australia)...made my day. The song is such a classic and used to hear it in the clubs and regularly blast myself with it in the car...a favourite house party song also! Thank you Mark Morrison!!!

Check out PM DAWN... “I’d Die Without You, Set ADift of Memory Bliss, or Looking through Patient Eyes.” Oh and although I am American the UK was a problem in the 80’s and 90’s ) Caron Wheeler, Soul II Soul, Mica Paris, Five Star, Loose Ends, Seal, to name a few) they had really good music (still do but seemed like more back then).

This guy was a one-hit wonder with this song back in the day. But his voice was truly unique-sounding, and the song's got a solid groove to it. The song's got surprising staying power after more than two decades, it's still got vibe. You will want to do a reaction to "The Humpty Dance" by Digital Underground, if you've not already done that one. Serious banger.

Random fact of the day for you..... Mark Morrison was convicted of affray for his part in a brawl resulting in one fatality and sentenced to community service. Morrison later was incarcerated in Wormwood Scrubs for a year for paying a lookalike (Gabriel Maferika) to perform his court-appointed community service in his stead, while Morrison himself went on tour.

Mark was from 🇬🇧 fun fact Mark had a community order and sent a lookalike to do the job, they only found out when Mark was caught out and about when the lookalike was doing his duty, that was the end of his career. I still love the record and always sing along
