If you are into Lombardo check out his new band, that Mike Patton joined, "Dead Cross" (also features members from The Locust) They just recorded their first album, and have a song called, "Shillelagh" they just released today i believe. They seem punk/thrash/odd --- When Lombardo went back to Slayer i thought it was great, and the two albums he did with them i thought were so much better than the ones without him (I do love most Slayer, not too hip on the most recent release)

Ha! Yeah that's pretty damn true!! Patton's versions in this medley are brutal. Way more brutal than the original material even though the original material is pretty much music royalty as far the tracks go.

i love the electronics/nuances/feeling patton adds to the songs. buzzo's almost "crude" versions of the riffs are a nice element too.

I Like Trees I agree.... he’s such a great person. What happened was beyond fucked Up. I have always appreciated Dave as a person and a beast of a drummer/talent. The others were and are way too full of themselves. That’s okay, bc he is appreciated by the masses and other bands are lucky to have him. What a fantastic collaboration here. 👌🏽🙌🏽✊🏽💟

Considering how much Kerry King apparently hated Fantômas (because he's a bitter old fart), I wouldn't be surprised if Patton never thought to get in the studio and record it because he knew they wouldn't be allowed to put it out officially anywhere.
