Women know very quickly if they are into a guy.. If a girl doesn't like you for who you are, nothing that you can say matters. If she is affended or doesn't respond to something like "good morning", then save your money. She's not worth it. No girl is worth chasing. The simple fact is that women decide and will let you know despite what you say...

Sometimes women can have boring conversations as well, it's not always the guys. If she don't have any interesting topics to talk about, than that can be a turn off as well.

To all the guys complaining that this is too complicated, etc., it really isn't. The underlying premise of all of these rules is to project confidence & masculinity, and to use the texts to facilitate meeting up in person. Show that you're the leader instead of asking her. Don't overuse cutesy emojis. Have long conversations in person instead of doing the essay text.

Marni, I agree with you normally about most everything. This was over the top. If a woman is annoyed that I said good morning, or text because I had a thought knowing she’d answer when she had time, or if I had to worry about word count as to not get on her nerves. If she is that irritable about texts, it doesn’t look good because life is way harder than that. This is game playing and trying to make a man jump through hoops. What does she do to get my attention. I don’t do a thing if it isn’t reciprocated. Ever.

I have come to the conclusion that if I can’t be freaking courteous with my introduction without being viewed as too forward, that chivalry is being murdered and not just dying. Either that or women are just crazy. It’s probably both, it’s both right?

Here's a tip, use #13 BUT Text her all this sentimental stuff, emotional attachment stuff and when she replies indifferently, you then text her "ha, I was just playing. I bet you were getting scared" and watch how she grows even more attached. Again, this isnt gonna work on someone you just met or on someone you know very well (knows your shenanagins by now or has that emotional connection with you already). This works on the women you're JUST dating, maybe a few dates, but hasnt gotten too serious yet. I stumbled upon this one. Works so nicely.

#9: how about never invite a woman out via text at all. Be a man, grow a pair and call her or speak to her in real life. These are really just ways to be an adult, not complicated at all.

Fun. So lets close the loop. Here are texts women should not send: 1. picture of their dog, cat, the woods, the beach, their car, getting coffee or attending a kid's gradution or wedding 2. copies of poems, quotes, or other smarmy stuff women think are important and of course, men do not 3. pictures of them with their 'gal pals' men think such women are high-schoolish 4. playing an obvious game of too hard to get...there is a balance and if a lady does not send back a reply within two days, they are history 5. smarmy flirty messages like "you are so handsome" or "I bet you have to beat the girls off with a stick" remember, the ladies can be needy too and its just as much of a turnoff 6. an unsolicited phone number or email address (let the guy offer, then ask for it) 7. any comment that sounds like or is an insult, put-down, snarky, stuck-up, or bitchy...a clear signal she has emotional issues.

The funny thing about the triple text is that it is almost risk-free. If you have been ignored twice, there are just two explanations: 1) She missed the first two, 2) she does not want to respond. In scenario 1, a third probably won‘t hurt, and in scenario 2 it won‘t change anything anyway. So don‘t be afraid to text a third time, I have turned conversations around with the right third message. Once, for instance, the woman had not responded earlier because she literally was embarrassed that she had not responded for so long, and it took another message to get her to do so.

I wish this came sooner like on Saturday. My first one night stand apparently but I didn’t even realize it. Didn’t want to have sex because I wanted to salvage a relationship with her and I sent her a hopeless romantic text because we bonded pretty well and quickly. Let’s just say she isn’t responding to my texts anymore lmao. To be fair, I haven’t had a lot of experience so I learned from my mistakes and will get better in my next outings.

One more. Women are notorious for being indecisive - especially where to eat. It’s ironic that you’re saying that she despises a man for not knowing exactly where to go initially knowing da*n well that she wouldn’t known if it she had hours to figure it out. All these rules. How can people ever love one another if men have to tiptoe around a women’s feelings and annoyances. Men, be yourself and be strong in it. If she’s annoyed, let her be annoyed. If she ghosts you - who cares? It’s the one that doesn’t play this silly sh*t that gets the guy. A hassle free feminine girl is every man’s dream.

I would agree with some of these lists, not all of it, and I am a woman. Problem is majority of these issues is discussible or easy to speak up about the problem later on if it's getting overboard. Hence going silent which I am obviously guilty of the silent part. Too busy trying to hold my anger back if it was not appropriate or possibly disturbed or fearful. * [1] Confusing about #1 but I do understand there is a balance about these good morning/goodnight texts. I do admit I rather have phones calls or a voice chat (a substitute as a phone call at times), but I am traumatized by video chats ever since my first serious relationship. I think its taken over 10 years to finally be OK with basic video chat requirements but long-term not too much. I know this is subjective for everyone. I don't mind texts of good morning or good night every once in a while but you are right if the relationship is serious officially and not a first time meeting or there has been no establishment of a relationship between the two of you. Of course, if someone complains about "You never text me a good morning" or a goodnight or worse if someone guilts you to missing a 'personal text' just one time then it's best to move on. * [2] Triple text is subjective for me, because it may depend a lot how it's being said. I don't think it is a big deal to me, as long it's not rude nor controlling. Though if it is rude and controlling then run, run far away. I cannot recall "needy", but yes for controlling and rude versions. I know women and men have their moments to be frankly honest when someone is insecure or worried. Plus I had moments my cellphone did have reception issues or as you said one gets very busy in life. Majority of the time a triple text for my experiences was due to concern. Not saying this is a good first time impression of course, especially if you just met so I get that it would be a turn off. * [3] Overload emojis, sure I can agree about this. I cannot say it zips up my v-part, but yes it is a major turn off all together when see too many emojis in one text. It's fine with basic emojis, but I am behind the times for these and rather keep it minimal or none. Emojis do help paint a picture but it certainly doesn't replace reality. * [4] Sure, can agree about the "Hey" text only. It confuses my mind every time when anyone does this to me only in text or it scares me sometimes, haha. In real life I don't care to be honest. Not a big deal to me so it's subjective. I just assume anyone says "Hey" to get my attention, not a conversation starter per say. * [5] One ended closed questions, depends what it is. Not a big deal to me to be honest. Some days people are chatty and some are not. I cannot judge too quickly since I am guilty of either being this way too or I become a chatter box. Guys are usually simple anyway, so it's not a big deal but if you meant a way to get a conversation going then do this in real life or a phone call. So, a text version of a closing question, sure it may not be always appealing. It's hard to avoid of course. * [6] You may not like essay texts so in your statement "no girl" can handle it but I am honestly the opposite. And I am no girl either. I prefer it far more in person when a lot of deep thinking or detail discussion occurs or a phone call is acceptable. I know not everyone likes a detail text. I would hope the person would speak up right away instead of tolerate it until one snaps, but it doesn't bother me. As long it's not rude nor controlling, go ham detail with me. Again in person or a phone call is far better of course, but I don't mind the text version either as long it's appropriate. Not the venting kind about my ex talk, that is a major no if I am trying to get to know a man unless this means an obvious red flag of being unavailable to begin with which they may be doing a major favor for anyone. Be a good listener but don't pull a double-standard either for this spectrum. I am sure everyone is guilty once in their life texting too much of something, even if that was one detailed text sentence. So I only agree depending what is being said and how serious the relationship is. Even if you are friends, assuming you two have a healthy communication about it. And if that friend has a spouse or a serious relationship, then please be honest with them and don't have secrets when going into a detail text mode with that friend of yours. * [7] The below the belt photo from a guy, 100% agree with you. I certainly would be seeing it as a way to break things off if meeting them for the first time or even few times. And I don't want that no matter how good of a relationship it is. I'm not into porn and I rather respect a man, not be the opposite. Plus it disrespects me majorly in a heartbeat. * [8] Oi at #8. Similar to what was said about #7 with inappropriate photos. There's enough pain and anguish about this topic, unfortunately I see this common with some guys who are into porn and it's just disheartening when you get that foolish request of a question. Even if I liked or 'loved' the guy, speaking in current times, I wouldn't want this regardless. There needs to be respect, not desperation and low-self esteem. * [9] I think it's a bit subjective with #9. Usually I seen shy guys act this way often. It does not mean it's ill intention or unattractive all the time. You bet if a guy were super confident it be like "Oh yes, please! I definitely want to do this with you." I had one guy in my life who was confident but it turned out as not meant to be together. Thank God and I mean that towards Him. I think it's understandable for the shy ones out there, because of inexperience or maybe bad experiences on their end with past relationships themselves. Sometimes one needs to give a little lee-way for a first time, as long it's appropriate. And it's not hard to know if you are interested of a man or you know it's not going to work out. Unless this is one of your reasons to not be interested then fair enough. Not going to lie, it's attractive to be with a confident man, even when he makes mistakes and admits it calmly or foolishly in a healthy fun way. Shy guys can be the same way too, but you are right it helps to see if the guy is able to lead or does he only allow you to make the decisions? I prefer a balance versus one-sided person making all the decisions every time is not too attractive. I would hope the guy is not submissive, but cooperative and hope he places his real two cents in if he was not certain. It's OK at times when there is uncertainty but sure one has to reach a point in life to be confident and lead on. Especially when it's required. When it is necessary. I get it though, not every woman out there wants a man to be always indecisive, and neither do I. And if the first impression became indecisive, it's up to the lady (or sir) to decide if they want to take the next step of interest or not. Or in other words whomever is the confident one and who is willing to take the next step. * [10? 11? 12?] I got lost at these numbers? I miss a lot of something. I think I am at #12, I hope, which I very much agree with this. It's extremely a turn off or painful to deal with an instant, paranoid text questions. Happened to my first serious relationship and he ended up cheating on me three times, while I had done zero. I don't take infidelity lightly. Constantly stalking questions is not a wise move for anyone. It shows how majorly insecure you are and possibly lack trust whom you are with. If someone is that paranoid, just don't start such a relationship or end the relationship for goodness sake. It's torture for both the lady and the guy or whomever. * [13] Yes, you are right about this #13 if the lady is not even close to the level of romance in early stages of the relationship. Worse is in a month or less. Love bombing happens on both sides if you probably knew each other as far away people or acquaintances for years. If he says a deep profound love in early stages it is a scary feeling due to not wanting to disappoint the guy you just started to get to know with. Worse, don't place a woman (or any guy) on a pedestal when falling hard on them so quickly. It's frankly not fair to the lady or the guy because everyone has flaws, we are human and if someone is committed so quickly in a month or less and assuming they barely know you at all, it's a huge red flag. Be gentle and ease away or be honest and say "Whoa we should try to slow down here." If anyone allows this in person for a serious deep conversation, avoid the text unless have to. It is better to say it in person but it's not good either in just text alone. Actions need to match what you say, otherwise words meaning absolutely nothing. And a lot of love bombing in early stages in a text and in person can be related to a deeper wound whomever you are or 'were' with. It can happen quickly for some people which I don't discredit those out there. I say don't quickly place all yours eggs in one basket in a love bomb text nor with any person in such a short amount of time. It's not a game, and if someone has a deep wound from a past ex then slow it down. It's true, it's usually a quick silent run away if someone does a love bomb text and vice versa in real life too. Either work it out assuming no one is dealing with a recent break up and just slow it down or well, the person who is listening to their gut has to end it right there. Especially if it's about a past ex you are not aware about, and this someone sends a deep, thoughtful romance in text and/or in person. I think text alone would make me run away to avoid players. Oh wait, it has made me run away by text and in person... Some good points regardless Marni. Also, some do vary for everyone too. I get it though if it's just meeting the guy for the first time or been on very few dates. Agreeable on certain points here, but not all of it.

I always say good morning and good night to my girl over text (Long distance for the last 6 months), and 50% of the time she'll beat me to it due to time zone differences. I know you said 'girls you're not going out with yet' but still, I thought I'd add that in for balance. We also ask each other how each others day was, it just shows interest and care. She also actively requests essay length messages once in a while, she says she reads it hearing my voice and imagines me there saying it all to her in person. Personal tastes for every individual I guess. I have however, made the mistake of pouring my heart out to her way too early in the beginning. It made her pull back a little and made her worry that I would be disappointed if the situation and feelings changed. But after talking about communication, worries and timing, we made it through in the end. I still have to bite my tongue regularly when emotions take hold, and thats quite unfair in my mind, but once I realize Im in danger of making a mess of things, I can pull myself up in time..
