Jody they are called Celestials. They are beings who were ventured out into the universe to create and destroy. The Eternals have to obey to their command. There was one in Guardians 1 that had the power stone. The Celestials are not as powerful as the Cosmic Entities. The Living Tribunal is the leader of the Cosmic Entities. The planet Knowhere is the severed head of one of the Celestials. Ego (Star Lord's Dad) is also a Celestial as well.

I think Eternity is the most powerful cosmic entity. If I'm not mistaken, as far as old marvel goes, The Living Tribunal is just above them. Second to The One Above All.

@@rlh1220 It used to be like that until The Beyonders (The Ivory Kings) wrecked their shit and put a whooping on ALL the Celestails and Cosmic Entities including killing The Living Tribunal. Hank Pym the original Ant Man watched it all happen and teleported back to warn all the heroes and told them they are all gonna die. And lead to the death of the multiverse thanks to The Beyonders. The Beyonders are the second most powerful beings in existence. Let me tell y'all something after Thanos it gets worse.

When I was growing up reading comics. I’m talking about mid 80s. The Beyonder (Pre-Retcon) was the most powerful being in the multiverse. Not even a living tribunal was on his level.

@Exar kun The dark side cosmic entitymarvel and disney are better at world building and making fans excited for their films and majority of the time deliver with the execution of the films…dc however, tries to do so solely on the names of the characters and then produces films that are straight booboo…then the films that are good are butchered by the studio…man of steel was dope in a sense that Henry Cavill is a great Superman and we got to see his powers like never before but other than that? The soundtrack was the most memorable thing about that movie smh

I love your enthusiasm for this film! Since they announced this it has been my most anticipated film! I know not many have read the Eternals comics but they are such good stories to translate to film for an epic experience and I cannot wait!

They're called Celestials. They officially confirmed back in 2019, which 4 would show up with the concept art, a promotional poster, and an accompanying press release. The red one is Arishem the Judge and the green one who is making a new galaxy between his hands is Jemiah the Analyzer.

Everything about all these trailers feel and look so elegant. Even the characters narrating the trailers, their voice fits it all so perfectly. The score too, everything. Top 5 MCU film on its way!

Eson the Searcher is the characters name. He's actually seen in the 1st guardians of the galaxy. Some people think it's Arishem the judge but I don't think so...looks more like Eson. Either way that means we're heading towards the one above all eventually.

That trailer was FIRE…..the score was hitting, it said the right things, it showed some cool things, and it looks like the most cinematic mcu movie yet. There’s no way it can get released on Disney +, cus it looks like the definition of the theater movie. Also, those other characters u mentioned are called celestials, ego from GOTG Vol 2 was one.

This was 100% 🔥🔥🔥! In the comics the Celestials created the Deviants, Eternals and humans on earth. The 3 species are like cousins. Of course the MCU changed things but hopefully it’ll make sense. The MCU has been missing mutants for me but the Eternals are the next best thing. People born with powers have been needed 🙏.

This trailer made me really excited for this movie! I think phase 4 Marvel is really gonna blow people away. Since phase 1-3 was just build-up for a type of story-telling structure that was common "assemble heroes to fight the 1 big bad" but now it's continuing with the aftermath of that plus whatever branching timeline stuff that loki messed up in his series. If anything, the battles, villains and storytelling is gonna be much better than the more "conventional" stuff we got from phase 1-3, if that makes any sense.

Also wanted to say, that giant red alien being is a Celestial, so the MCU is DEFINITELY gonna go way out there in the comics! Plus, I agree that Richard Madden has the look of Superman 100%, but he REALLY NEEDS to bulk up with some muscle for the role! He kinda undersized for Supes.
