It was exciting to watch the wind sculpt the long grasses and trees as it rushed up the cliffs from the bay! Great videography and storytelling, as usual! Well done!

The wind she fair blows when the tree at the cliff top has the same angle as the grassy cliff. The feeling of having won a battle when you escape inside from the wind and rain adds to the satisfaction. The word 'exhilarating' sums up that battle beautifully. What a fantastic trip. Thank you.

Hats off to you both for keeping your spirits so high along the whole journey. You were obviously very unlucky with the weather and I reckon you were quite ambitious in walking the way in only 6 days. I can’t fault your attitude Mary and will check out other vids on your channel.

Because of COVID, I had to cancel my hiking trip to Scotland (WHW & GGW), so am soothing my soul with your beautiful hiking videos. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us! (And by the way, I LOVE rain....wish I were there!)

You two are absolutely amazing and adorable. Your endurance and stamina are remarkable and were put to the test but you certainly came out victorious. Moments of sadness enveloped me as I knew it was the end but I knew it was relief and comfort for you having put up with such harsh conditions (is it really summer right now in England?) so enjoy the comforts of home while you can because you must get ready for your next adventure. Soooo looking forward for what comes next. I’m a true admirer , fan, (addict???) of all that you do. Thank you, Derek and your sister. ❤️🙏🏻🤗

Love you both. I am doing the Cleveland Way this spring. I don't care about weather when I do these walks, but I do hope it's a little better than your experience. I am from California and I have done the SWCP, so I know you take your chances and smile as you go knowing almost anyone would love to be where you are. BTW, I have backpacked on the PCT and I respect so much your walking it. Hope you are better soon, and I will watch for what makes you walk again. Beautiful. Really.

Well, all trips must end. Some r to short. Some r to long ( did that come out of my mouth 🤗 ) But I love them all !!! And I love this one even though I didn't Really do it 😃. It's been a wonderful week of traveling with u 2 !!!! I'm very appreciative !!!! Yeah, I bit less rain would have been nice 😬 And I know how wet muddy shoes can sap the grin right out of ya. Thus I could appreciate it all the more. But more seriously it was gorgeous !!!!!! My hat is off to u both. Great job. Keep on rocking the free world in your style !!!

Well done Mary. Great how you kept smiling and your spirits up despite the weather. I did the Cleveland Way last week and was very fortunate to have great weather. Unfortunately, I was less fortunate with the body as I got shin splints which meant I couldn’t do the last 19 miles ☹️. It’s an amazing trail though. Really enjoyed your series of videos 🙂
