Sad thing is Nintendo won’t bring life to a lot of these characters The only one they did it with was Aran Ryan, who they turned from a generic no nonsense boxer, into one of my favorite fights from punch out wii

Super Punch Out missed the mark honestly. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone call this their favorite punch out game.

Well now you have! I think so!

I’ve played every game except wii and I can definitely say that super punch out for the nes is my favourite out of the games I’ve played so far. Although I am trying to get my hands on a copy or digital copy of punch out wii, so my opinion might change then.

1:35 Masked Muscle was never even in Arm Wrestling your probably just mistaken him for Mask X which is actually Bald Bull.

I think some extreme characters like Narcis Prince have a chance at being memorable characters just by how extra their personality is. Narcis Prince could be like Super Macho Man in Wii where he is meant to be hate-able in a new punch out game

So he’s a Mexican ex wrestler Aran Ryan

With less personality Tbh the fact that Aran got a glowup in Wii (and that's considering his debut was in SNES SPO as well) just shows that MAYBE, if we get a new Punch Out game, Masked Muscle could also get a glowup and become a new staple. Would be funny seeing both Aran and MM in the same game again, except this time, they're both extreme cheaters.

1:25 As a native spanish speaker I would like to tell you that it's not pronounced Lu-ca-dor is actually Lu-cha-dor. The "Ch" pronounced like the one in "chair"

i disagree that mad clown is the only good fighter in super punch out i would say that bear hugger and dragon chan also hit the mark and create memorable characters

What about Rick and Nick? While they look similar, they have different moves and they definitely did not miss the mark. Great final bosses.
@PKpaula425 Жыл бұрын
I would agree, but I believe they're not actually original to Super Punch-Out--- Both Bear Hugger and Dragon Chan are returning characters from the arcade game! I do think there are quite a few fun original fighters on offer aside from Mad Clown and Muscle, though... Most of the final circuit always stood out to me.

And maybe give *Masked Muscle* a connection with *Star Man* from Pro Wrestling, like making MM a fallen pupil of SM, due to the former resorting to his new, foul style. That little, extra flavor can add a lot to MM, you know. I also think that *Dragon Chan* and *Rick Bruiser* were wasted potentials, because the former boxer has super unique jabs and body blows, and the latter boxer has an interesting personality, cool signature move, and character design, and could potentially complete the quartet with Bald Bull, Mr. Sandman and Super Macho Man, given some more fine tuning. Both of those two's infractions not withstanding, of course. Kicks and elbow shots... Come on, guys!

Sounds like that would've been really cool! I don't know who Star Man is, though.
