One day, don't know when, but you'll be recognized as a maestro. Absolutely sublime

Another brilliant track. There is something unique about your sequencing; keep doing this. Love it.

Wow, very nice! Like the emergent quality of the arps... and polyrhythms. The Animoog is a great lead instrument.

Could you please explain how technically such vibrant sequences are made? There are a few of them (three, four?) ano above another and you regulate some randomness factor with Elektron's knob?
@arjenschatmusic6 жыл бұрын
There are two major factors that play a role in how the sequences interweave; all three sequences are polyrhythmic (usually the amount of steps correlate with a prime number in one or more of the sequences), and I use a technique I call "transposition modulation". This modulation is achived using the arpeggiator, but with the speed similar to the main tempo. Elektron's arpeggiator allows you to select up to three notes, and adjust the order (which I set to "random" in the video). Due to the varying lenghts between the steps it plays notes in between in random order, and it transposes the note that is actually playing.

would you please comment on the setup

The Dark Energy is controlled by the control voltage of the Analog Four and the audio of both the Dark Energy and the Animoog go through the Analog Four and its internal effects.

Arjen Schat , i find most of my personal dreammachines in your setups. I agree with Martin Pascoe about your musical output and your sequencing.

@arjenschatmusic4 жыл бұрын

@arjenschatmusic5 жыл бұрын

@arjenschatmusic5 жыл бұрын
@@Wijnfles Thomann is het goedkoopste denk ik: www.thomann.de/nl/the_sssnake_adapter_cable_6_3_3.5_mm.htm
