Honestly Helldivers is a great example of a game that's *actually* for everyone. Yep. Luckily I have the "negative method". I won't read the positive reviews of a game. Those are always just prase and polishing. I read the negative reviews. Those are usually more honest. They give the real good and the bad, most of the time there is "I would love to give a thumbs up, but" -reviews that are the most on point. I have regretted many games I have bought in my youth (now 46, sigh) because I bought them based on the hype. And I don't remember regretting ANY game I bought after reading a bunch of negative reviews and watched many videos about it. Anyway, no matter what the game is, if it has this DEI -crap (Didn't Earn It), I just won't buy it, won't play it. Never. And I never regret that decision. I have enough games on my PC, PS3, XBOX ,Nintendo, tabletop, boardgame etc that I can play them until I kick the bucket. Any new purchase I make is a statement, a vote with my wallet. I can also choose not to vote if the thing is not worth my money.

I wanted to say that there were female witchers, but after going through my memories of the book series, comic series, the prologue, small excerpts from newspapers back in the 2000's, I can't remember even a single mention of female witchers. I guess the trial of the grasses really was just made to convert males into witchers. Ciri didn't go through the trial, that's why she's still a fertile woman and although trained, she's only as good as a normal human can get. Also, cancel your netflix subscription if you can, there are better places to find movies or series and better ways to seek out new products worth your money.

For us invested in the lore this particular change isn't entierly of the charts, the lies are bad. But it creates the opening to change other stuff wich is worse. I am personally 20+ years in and don't mind the change. The way it's presented IS however problematic.
