I don't know if it exists in the UK, but in France, we have a special charity for prescription glasses. You bring your old glasses that don't go with your eye sight, and this charity will send your glasses to countries where they can help poeple that don't have means to get their own glasses and need the same prescription as you do. A good and helpful way to declutter prescription glasses!

I decluttered my wardrobe just one week ago because the doors couldn't close. I got rid of so many things and it's really shocking how much stuff I owned and how much of these clothes I didn't even wore once. I decluttered my storage closet when I put away my Christmas decor. It took several hours but was worth the time because I now know exactly where everything is. The things I need more often, like gift bags are easy to reach now. I'm planning on going through my clothing closet and dresser drawers next.

I declutter my closet and accidentally donated my sweaters (that had been decluttered already and only put my favs aside) along with all the other items. I didn't realize what I had done until I began to bring out my winter clothes! I enjoy watching your videos because you remind me so much of myself. It's funny because I have been decluttering all year and I'm still doing it. My bff tells me I'm a hot mess because she is very good at it and I am just indecisive. Keep up the good work. i love a good declutter! in your dresser drawers you should try folding your shirts and stowing them vertically - you'll get twice as much space back and then you'll be able to see everything better! x

I actually did a lot of this. Threw everything that I didn't want on my bed, sorted through my items in categories - keep, donate, trash piles. Organize. Went through all of my handbags and I'm trying to sell the ones that I don't need. Accessories - got rid of all things that I don't wear and made a drawer of the jewelry that I wear often. Trying to sell some jewelry pieces too. Clean desk drawers and throw out anything unnecessary. Clean dust, Swiffer closet and floor. Clean under my bed and Swiffer. Cleaned out my closet of all clothes that don't fit anymore and organized the clothing that I wanted to keep into sections in my closet. I feel so much better. Thank you for making these videos. I'm addicted to these. Please make more of them!

Well done! I Mari Kondo’d my clothes in the end of 2017 and haven’t really had need for a major declutter since then. Have gotten rid of clothes on gut instinct since then, a whole bunch in a color I realised kinda gets me down. But it is very satisfying to watch someone else go through the purge and feel like a new person with more clairty on what you actually need.

I bought a fixer-upper too...back in 2002. Aaaaand guess what? It is still a shamble! I have been "planning" to sort for years....however my lil home business and making time to visit my family who live 5 hours away, seems to continually stall progress. As well as falling into depression over the whole cycle. So thankyou for filming this series Hermione. You can imagine how much I need the direction of like-minded sufferees 🧚‍♀️

Konmari says you should roll everything in your drawers. I have done this for certain items but not t shirts, now i roll. Does make it easier to see. Such a great clear out. Well done

Sure do wish I lived close to you...I would definitely shop at your sale! You have really helped me. The last video where you got the room ready for an upcoming guest helped me to set up my crafting area. I had just changed locations in my home for my crafting area. Well, when I had it all moved I was overwhelmed at how to set it up and make it functional to crafting. Needless to say, "It was a hot mess!" I cannot thank you enough for giving tips to tackle a big job in small batches at a time. When you showed your closet (today's post) I just had to laugh. I have about 8 shirts and 4 black pairs of dress/casual pants. My issue is not clothes, but pocketbooks and wallets are - most often, they always fit. Your charity shop will definitely value what you will donate and the recipients who purchase those items will not be able to believe the great find. Good luck! ❤ A helpful tip now that youve organized the clothes; now that you know what you have and have everything that you need dont buy new stuff without removing something. So for example, if you buy a new tshirt then get rid of an old one. It will help you keep it clean and not clutter back up!

I did this last week and now I'm tackling the rest of our flat because we're moving in 3 months and I'm so excited and don't want to take all the stuff with me that I didn't need :) so far I'm at 6 bags of clothes from us two and 4 bags of crap from our flat... And I'm by far not done yet. It feels soooooo good :) :) :)

It might seem really overwhelming now, but if you work on a little bit of it at a time, you'll get it all done. I found this out when I moved recently and it's such a relief when everything is in its place and organized. :)
