Not much chance of that, with 3 copies sold he'd have to give away the 2 he bought himself or his dad gave the other away. Someone would need to be quite insane to pay good money for an awful film that's readily available for free on KZfaq. Unless they wanna have a really good HD zoom in on his bald spot to just how big it really is without the cleverly staged hairdo that's intended to hide it. Or count the hairs in his goatee that's clearly there to deflect attention from his unusually large and capacious nostrils. Or perhaps there's some nudity in the outtakes 😱

Sounds awful. I generally love feel-bad movies but since seeing animals harmed tends to haunt me I don't think I'll ever watch it. But I do wonder how they did it effects wise.
@koenvandamme69015 жыл бұрын
If I recall correctly, you didn't see much, but you really didn't have to. Just the fact that this happens near the beginning of the film makes the impact even larger. The actual animal abuse isn't even the most devastating part as well; He does it in a drunken rage brought on by feelings of being powerless. He destroys the only positive thing left in his life at that point, the only being that loves him no matter what. And he realises it the fucking *second* after it's too late. I'm always torn about recommending this movie to people I like. On one hand, it's an incredible piece of work on themes like alcoholism and (domestic) abuse, with really strong acting. On the other hand, it's the polar opposite of a feel-good movie. I guess because it feels so real. It reminds you that things like this happen in the world. *Are* happening in the world right now. Feels bad man. Though it has to be said, the ending is hopeful. Kind of. It's no happy ending, but it's a possible start to one.

I think Top Cat was a foreign made film like Mexico or something as the original cartoon show is big over there. So a movie was made by them for they're market and all the jokes fall flatter than a flat thing from flatland. There was also a woody woodpecker movie that was equally awful, I think.
@DarknessViper995 жыл бұрын
The Woody Woodpecker one was made in Brazil, starring recognizable Brazilian actors…strange.

6:08 watched this in my Biomedical Technology Class in High School last year. Decent film if you’re in class, not recommended for personal viewing. It’s an odd film for sure. Weird transitions which consist of Fraser running like he has a stick up his ass and a rock in his shoe. Harrison Ford basically played a dried up Indiana Jones from The Crystal Skull with some medical jargon and stuffs. Also direction was awful when it came to giving the viewer an idea of how long the events have been happening for. Overall, it was very very strange in it’s everything.

Space Above And Beyond was a sci-fi series done by Fox around 94 or 95. Like several sci-fi shows Fox picked up it was awesome but only ran a single season. Basically the guys in charge of buying programs were looking for another hit like XFiles. But the people running the schedule would of it up in the hardest spot in the schedule trying to knock shows like 60 minutes from their perch as number one. And when it didn't they would swap it's airtime every month and air episodes out of order and basically ruin any chance it had. Basically Earth had it's first contact with Insectoid aliens called "chiggers" who blew up Earth's first colony outside the solar system and teamed up with AI's that had rebelled from Earth years before.

The project x movie had a few controversies. First one was it was based on a guy from Australia who posted his address on his myspace and got 500 people trashing his parents place causing $20,000 of damage and journalists who showed up were attacked by the partiers, there was a girl who was filmed peeing onset as there were no toilets and someone videoed her and then bribed her to let them keep it in the film. There was also some question as to whether she was 18+ or not

Funny how Stuart complains about American shows having too many episodes in a short period of time, meanwhile when I tried to get into British shows like Sherlock I got annoyed how Series 1 was like 4 episodes and I had to wait 3 years for Series 2.
@skylarkblue15 жыл бұрын
because we don't add unnessicery filler. Just (for the most part) well thought out stories with an overarching plot, and it doesn't get stretched out for more money.
@mordecaieagle42405 жыл бұрын
I think that the optimal amount of episodes per season is 8-15, you can have a good story arc in there, just enough filler that establishes the world/characters, but not too long that it would become tedious.
@Pehmokettu5 жыл бұрын
@@skylarkblue1 Maybe Sherlock would have benefitted with some extra filler. Now many people were really disappointed with the latest episodes. Those were really weird and stupid. Many Sherlock fans hated the last episode and wish that there will not be new episodes for that show unless they change the people who write that show.

@@skylarkblue1 American writers can develop entire seasons with no filler and an overarching storyline. British writers are just unmotivated.

Yet they put a To Be Continued with the end of 'Season 1' of Jekyll. And never made more. At least there's more Sherlock than one season even if it does take a while to come out.

The only market for video these days is for purchasing stuff. After all, if it's licensed or a TV show, you should be going that route since there's a risk of not seeing something again for a long time, if ever.

Absolutely right. Pirates of the Caribbean 4 is loosely based on the Tim Powers book "On stranger tides", which was already the basis of "Monkey Island". Which was also inspired by the Disneyworld attraction "Pirates of the Caribbean". Yeah, a bit of a clusterfuck, all that, really. The book in itself is not Powers' best (that would be "The stress of her regard", in my opinion) but, still, a lot of fun. The main villain is Blackbeard but you could call him LeChuck quite easily.

I used to consider The Anubis Gates as one of my all time favourite books, then I made the mistake of reading it again. Never a good idea when there are so many surprises. I still recommend it. I hesitate now to re-read The Drawing of the Dark. Later on he went all mystical and Tarot obsessed and I went off him.

A quick word about Queen stuff: Whilst Brian and Roger are still very much influencing most stuff about the band, there are still plenty of books and documentaries that don't gloss over the seedier side of their lives.
