Hi! We are a married couple from Jacksonville, Florida. We quit our jobs, bought a 30 year old van named Hidalgo and spent 5 months road tripping the US, then went abroad and spent 6 months exploring Europe and Asia. Now we are settling back down into normal life in Florida with our first baby on the way and we're excited to see what comes next!

The purse basket is actually a doll carrying basket. I had a similar one years ago and kept it for my daughters. They loved it and carried a small doll in it with clothes and accessories that was mine also. It is very cute!

Wow! Love the pillow cases! I also got a nearly identically shelf for free, although mine is missing 3 out of 4 of the pullout drawer covers. Makes a great bookshelf. Great video!

Your basket you put baby blankets in looks exactly like mine! I bought mine in West Berlin, Germany in 1980. Many of these were used to bring groceries home in as many Europeans shop groceries every day or so. Thought you'd like the history story🙂

Great hauls. Your new house is filling up nicely. I love the white walls. My next house will be all white rooms. For small pots succulents, cacti, or air plants would be perfect.

Tip if you really like baskets shop Target or other stores after easter.picked up quite a bit baskets had a cloth liner but can all ways remove.great haul

Love all of your finds! I think that tall terracotta pot might be a wine brick. It's true you need to be more patient when thrifting. Lots of fun to think of who loved the item before you bought it. Absolutely adore the laundry hamper!

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that the Ikea terra cotta vase is likely a wine cooler but great idea to use it as a vase. You have found some great stuff at your thrift stores - ours here don't usually have such wonderful items.

I am a thrift-holic n I'm having withdrawals. Lol. I too collect baskets. Of all kinds. And I'm picky with them also. Thrifting is the way to go. I just can't fathom spending an arm n a leg on something that you'd end up getting bored with down the road n pretty much giving it away. Just not going to happen. Pretty much everything I own had been thrifted, hand-me-down, or garage sale items. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. And don't ever feel embarrassed about buying thrifted things. "It's better to be wise than foolish". Let em all think you spent a fortune. You have some great finds there. N you can tell your husband you saved him a tons of money by thrifting. Lol. Be proud of yourself. And may you continue to find wonderful things for your home.

My favourite is the little pot that you don't know what to do with. I've been obsessed with succulents lately and like someone already suggested below, I'm picturing a succulent in it, maybe a zebra plant. And the hanging planters you've made are gorgeous. I'd so love to make something like that but I'm absolutely hopeless with a needle, can't even stitch a button lol

That terracotta vase with the pattern could actually be a wine cooler. I have a similar one. They are soaked in water and as the water evaporates it cools the bottle inside.

You asked us to choose one item which we love most, but I love them all. And I love you to make more videos with thrifted items. I think it will be the closet ( or is it cabinet or cupboard, I’m from the Netherlands and have to listen to the video again how you called it, sorry) But it is wonderful, I like it that the doors have glass. I think the chest is a library cabinet. That's what my uncle said they are when he cleaned out the library in an old school. My aunt used hers in her dining room for china, etc.

I like everything! All those baskets were so reasonable in price. You are sure having fun filling up space in your new home. You have great taste in decor. (Your bed seems too low, and soon will be hard to get up & out of it. Hope you can do something about that.)

I found the same cabinet but paid way more second hand I chalk painted it white. It houses my husband’s cologne and jewelry boxes Yes All five shelves filled I even installed six stick on battery lights with remote

The cabinet is for law books they use to make them with glass doors. If it was for a medical office it would have been metal. You got a great deal! Well done.

With my son have to be in and out of the hospital, at the cancer center and etc I am tired and really no extra cash ... we have a fund raiser going but thats going to bills no extras .....and we have not gotten any donations in a month ....I need to promote the fund raiser more

Thank you so much! Local markets are a lot of fun too! When we were in India, we had a dish called Kaju Korma and fell in love with it! I went to an Indian grocery store here in town and go all the ingredients to try to make it myself and it turned out pretty good! Not quite as good as when we had it in India though haha

What a fun haul! Your definatly into textures :-), me too. Your 40.00 cabinet is very neat! It's based on a barrister cabinet (lawyers book shelf). When your baby starts exploring you'll be glad those doors close lol. Nice job on your pillow covers, I know the shock you felt at pillow prices. They make some seriously great looking pillows but not 50.00 worth lol. If you have a hobby lobby near by check there clearance! You can time it right, end of season or holiday mark downs and get great discounts! Please keep sharing!

enjoyed the video! I was thinking of what you could do with the little pot with the stones in it. the one that you didn't think that you could put a plant in. what do you think of putting it in your kitchen and putting sponges and scrubbers that you use by the sink? It does have a hole in the bottom so water would not accumulate and you could put it on a little tray to catch drips! thanks for sharing!

Great finds and the house is looking great! That huge hamper was a score-I never see those in my local thrift stores. You are definitely nest building which is truly what we do when pregnant. I'm waaaay past the stage of doing that but would love to feel that way for a few months to get my house sorted out. LoL. Thanks for the videos-
