What is the one skill that all successful people have mastered? What is the one skill that makes successful people successful?
▬ Main takeaways ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
The most important skill that you need to master in life is becoming good at sales!
My definition of sales:
"The process of convincing someone to do or believe something you want them to do or believe."
Lesson 1: Details matter!
Small elements like your attire, speech, and even your Zoom background can significantly impact people's perceptions of you and influence their decisions. You've got to optimize them.
Lesson 2: Become more charismatic!
Charisma isn't innate; it can be developed. Understand different types of charisma-like focus, visionary, kindness, and authority-and use them according to the situation to influence others effectively.
Lesson 3: Prepare for what matters
Prepare strategically for important moments: reverse engineer the outcomes you want to get and prepare accordingly. Invest time in preparing for aspects that matter the most, such as presentations or interviews, as these can dramatically improve your outcomes and opportunities.

My sister has been looking for a job in software engineering for a year now. She didn't feel good about the first two rounds of an interview she had with Apple. Before her last two rounds, I sent her this video, and it made a huge difference! She ended up receiving a job offer and said this video was incredibly helpful. Thanks for the great content, Bosch!

Ich liebe deine Inhalte, da sie viel Wert haben und du Details gibst, die die meisten anderen Fachleute nicht bereitstellen. Niemand hat bisher darüber gesprochen, aber ist das eine Verbrennung an deinem linken Arm :(. Vielen Dank, Samuel.

True message! Love you content and the way you present it. Especially you sharing your personal experiences/stories has the most value to me, thanks for that! But bro... after talking about how important sales is, you should definitely advertise a course about sales and not python programming XD (Pro Tip: Don't wait until the end with the commercial, b/c it is more likely that people don't watch 'till the end. Better do it in the middle, right after some catchy part. Niklas Steenfatt is pretty good at this, you might check some of his older videos) Keep i up

I'm actually very curious about your schedule when you managed to get a medal at the IPhO, as a fellow ADHD junkie, i often find myself tangled up in my schedule and permanently changing it before i even get used to it, and i would really want to see how you managed to solve that problem, if you even had it in the first place, also, how do you not burnout from all that working you do? Especially when Care-Giver (also known as Passion Driven) Burnout has been a huge issue for me. Thanks in advance :3

As a minor point, I am not sure that selling can be considered a skill though, in your case, with the MIT professor it seems more like a strategy. Maybe kind of too broad to be just a skill.

Naaah stop with the glorification of sales. It's easy to sell a good product. The hard part is knowing what makes a good product, and being able to produce it. If your product is not selling it's easy to blame it on sales. Thinking you presented the product wrong. But that's just cope. Work on the product until people can't say no. We need more engineers, there's already too many shit talkers in this world.

I agree with the point about charisma being necessary. But that is not exclusive to sales. That's just being a decent human being.

Hey, I love your videos, they're really helpful. The content is perfect, I'm very glad I found this channel. I am an undergraduate student from Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, majoring in Engineering Physics. I watched most of your videos and I found the things you are doing very close to what I'm looking forward to do. My major interests are in Quantum Computing, Artificial intelligence, Business and Finance and I want to work in a start up. I just completed my 2nd year and right now I have a three month long break and I'm kinda of confused about a few things regarding how to proceed and utilize my time in the best way to learn everything. Also about what exactly I need to do to achieve what I want. So I thought you would be the perfect person to guide me. I would love to work with you in your start up if I could get a chance. Remember that I'm a Physics Major, so I can learn anything quickly. Is there anyway I can contact you ?
