Mastodon is one of those bands that has not only the rare gift of music but are also awesome people. I may not have met them but over the interviews and documentaries I think I've got a pretty good feel for them and they sure seem genuine and fun loving. I can't wait for the next album and tour.

I would love to meet Brann. That man has had some major heartache in his life and still manages to be full of life, love and humor. Dude is funny as hell and talented as fuck. Id like to meet Troy as well but he would make me feel like a dumb ass.... he is a very philosophical guy and smart as hell.

I've met Troy twice, super chill very laid back... and then after he says hello and does the obligatory photo/autograph he thanks YOU and tells you how much he appreciates us, the fans. THEN he wants to know who YOU are, and where you're from!! my brother has met the whole band and says they're all like that... except Brent. I'd love to chill with Brann, have a couple beers, maybe get into some shenanigans! his sense of humor is so goofy... seems like you could just knock on his door and if he wasn't busy he'd be down to hang out too.

I love this band! Emperor of Sand is the album of my life 2016-2018. I'm hoping for continued recovery this year. Not yet ready to be done. Onward! With music, love, positivity, support, coffee, Mastodon.

In nearly 40 years of listening to hard rock and metal, and these are definitely two of my favorite bands. I had joked about these bands touring together when I first bought Leviathan and saw thier video (which looked like it could have been a Primus video). It crushed me that the only show in my area was the same night that I had leave for a medical clinic.

When I was a toddler my mother collected clown memorabilia to help her overcome coulrophobia, so growing up around it I wouldn't mind being in Brann's guest room.

Met brann in Utah a few years ago was super nice really funny and really accommodating to his fans. Oh ya this guy slayes it on the drums. Mastodon fan for life. Also check out today is the day, in the eyes of God for brann rocking it out on the drums.

i caught one of Bran's sticks at a show in Seattle. it was a comical moment, i promptly slid out the bottom of a giant pig pile and sprinted out of the venue like they were chasing me. then holding it against the night sky i was screaming like I'd just slain a dragon or won olympic gold... or both! to me it's worth 10000$
