Good play. Gilis far to many cross courts and lot of opportunities missed to hold and drop or drive on the backhand which always makes it harder for opponents.

Gilis had a great tournament but in the end game plan wasnt the right one against Gohar. So many times she hit it back to Gohars forehand and trying to play who can hit the hardest wasnt likely to best the Eqyptian. I feel the focus should have been to move Gohar around the court more even if it didnt win the point.

Gillis can be improve if she knows how to control the pace of the ball it's nt hitting hard it's change of pace sometime along with killing ball when u get open space I think sherbini among all has better ability to control ball and also better technique then all thanks

Gohar is often « playing the man and not the ball”. Others could play the same with her, often she’s badly clearing shots and they would definitely get also some strokes.
