Max Power Mods for ANY Motorcycle + 23' R1 Air injection block off plate install (Graves)

So you're ready for the big power? You want every bit of pony you can squeeze out of your motorcycle whatever it may be... I'm here to solve your problems! Follow along these 3 things you can do to put your bike into its fastest possible form. 1st is exhaust, it doesn't matter the type or kind as long as its free flowing they all perform within 1% of each other. Next you'll need to have the bike retuned, I use 2wheeldynoworks for all my bikes checkout their link below.
Next I walk you through a step by step on how to install the graves air injection system block off plates. Once the exhaust is on and tuned you no longer need the AIS system. Lastly, you will want to disconnect your O2 sensors so you do not change the fuel table. Once you've completed these steps the bike is as fast as it will ever be until you slap a huge turbo on it!

I can't speak for others tunes but what I can say as a "hobby" tuner myself, it's easy to shortcut different years, models, exhausts and other changes. I know that 2wdw puts in tons and tons of dyno time for all the bikes they support and i've never had an issue 👍

Now some lightweight quality carbon fiber wheels and you're set 👍......I've never had carbon fiber wheels but they supposedly make a very noticeable improvement.

I haven't on my bikes either, but from other applications i've messed around with rotational weight savings it should make a huge difference 🤘

Do you still get Decel pops after the 2WDW tune and all those mods?

I love it! 2wheeldynoworks is known for doing things the right way. Many other tuners simply don't have the dyno hours logged and experience these guys do, so i'll stick with 2WDW

when you remove the O2 sensors, if you go to a mountain ride, lets say 2.000 meters over sea level, the engine will be running too rich at that altitude, and your spark plugs and exhaust will get wet with gasoline, i don't see the point in removing those, how can running too rich improve performance? your engine will run cooler, but you won't gain hp and will waste gasoline

These are max power mods. Mainly due to increasing emission standards the primary function of the 02 sensors are to run the bike lean. Even right at stoichiometric most engines give up HP for richer tunes, that's why you'll see a lot of guys (myself included) making max power at more like 10.5:1. In the case of a flash tune, if O2 is not disconnected the sensors lean out the fuel mapping decreasing power

@@DirtGearTv oh ok i see, i never did OEM ecu remapping, maybe with that ecu they can not set an steady AFR linked to lambda like we do with custom ecus to have best power AFR curve in all altitudes and barometric pressures. And yeah, that stupid emissions crap like those extra air valves, on performance vehicles is stupid, do it with normal vehicles that people buy just to move around, that's fine and help the planet, but on performance vehicles that are under 10% of the vehicles in the road, leave it free for the manufacturers to make whatever they want...
